Mexican genera and species of the Camptotypus genus-group are reviewed. Three genera, Clydonium Townes with four species, Odontopimpla Cameron with one species and Zonopimpla Ashmead with seven species, are recorded from Mexico. Five species, Clydonium porteri Khalaim, sp. nov., Zonopimpla malevola Khalaim, sp. nov., Z. munifica Khalaim & Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov., Z. nutabilis Khalaim, sp. nov. and Z. puebla Khalaim & Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov., are described as new to science, and four species, Clydonium cabrerai Gauld, C. garitai Gauld, Zonopimpla armandoi Gauld et al. and Z. lorraineae Gauld et al., are recorded from Mexico for the first time. Males of Clydonium quintanillai Gauld and Zonopimpla armandoi Gauld et al. are recorded and described for the first time. The number of known Mexican species of the Camptotypus genus-group is raised from 3 to 12, or four times. Identification keys to genera and species of Clydonium and Zonopimpla occurring in Mexico are provided.
Additional material from Central America was examined. From this material, Clydonium zamoranensis Khalaim, sp. nov. is described from Honduras, and Zonopimpla atriceps (Cresson), Z. humbertoi Gauld et al., Z. lorraineae Gauld et al. and Z. lilae Gauld are recorded for the first time from Panama.
