Effect of photoperiod on ovarian maturation in Cheirodon interruptus (Teleostei: Characidae)

Abstract: Cheirodon interruptus is a ubiquitous small characid that inhabits the Pampean region and commonly used as bait. Its vast market is supplied from the wild population causing a significant environmental impact.
