Resumo Objetivo: Descrever o perfil dos doutores egressos do Programa de Pós-graduação em Enfermagem da Escola Paulista de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal de São Paulo, sua atuação profissional e a opinião sobre o impacto produzido pelo curso. Métodos: Estudo descritivo, realizado com 135 egressos dos 224 doutores titulados no período de 1986 a julho de 2016, os quais foram agrupados em três coortes temporais. Resultados: Houve aumento expressivo na titulação dos doutores ao longo das três décadas, cujos egressos são advindos de todas regiões do país, especialmente do Sudeste; apenas três são de outros países. A média de idade ao ingressarem foi de 39,8 anos e a de permanência no programa 46,2 meses. A maioria encontrase inserido no mercado de trabalho, atuando no ensino (92%), na pesquisa (82,9%) e gestão (52,6%). Houve diferença estatisticamente significante entre as três décadas nas seguintes variáveis: condição de trabalho atual (p=0,01); atuação no ensino em instituição privada (p=0,02); atuação na assistência (p=0,03); atuação na gestão no ensino como coordenador de programa de pós-graduação (p=0,04) e como diretor de escola (p<0,01); gestão na pesquisa como líder de grupo (p=0,03); gestão na assistência como diretor de hospital (p=0,01) e publicação de livros (p=0,01) e capítulos (p<0,01). A maioria afirmou que o doutorado produziu impacto na formação acadêmica (94%), no crescimento profissional (94%), pessoal (91%) e aumento na oportunidade de trabalho (73%). Conclusão: A maior parte dos egressos encontra-se trabalhando em instituições federais, sua atuação no ensino majoritariamente em nível de graduação e pós-graduação latu sensu. A maioria encontra-se desenvolvendo pesquisas com alunos de graduação e pós-graduação sensu latu e stricto sensu. Parcela dos egressos desenvolve atividades assistenciais, de gestão no ensino, na pesquisa e na assistência. Os atributos: “crescimento profissional” e “formação acadêmica” seguida de: “crescimento pessoal” foram os maiores impactos referidos pelos egressos.

Objectives: to understand the pleasure-suffering duality experienced by students in stricto sensu Graduate Program in Nursing. Methods: qualitative, integrated single-case study based on the Psychodynamics of Work. The setting was the stricto sensu Graduate Program in Nursing in Brazil. Two Graduate Programs were chosen. Data collection took place between May 2017 and April 2018, with 23 students, through interviews guided by semi-structured script and Documentary Analysis. Content Analysis was carried out. Results: two analysis units emerged: Situations generating pleasure: bridges built by the Graduate Program and Situations generating suffering: walls of the Graduate Program. They were discussed in two dimensions -organizational and socio-professional relations. Final considerations: the results can contribute to the planning of actions capable of potentiating the creation of "bridges" that lead to reach of pleasure in the Graduate Program. It impels the confrontation of suffering-generating situations for the student. RESUMOObjetivos: compreender a dualidade prazer-sofrimento vivenciada por discentes na Pós-Graduação stricto sensu em Enfermagem. Métodos: pesquisa qualitativa, do tipo estudo de caso único integrado, fundamentada na Psicodinâmica do Trabalho. O cenário foi a Pós-Graduação stricto sensu em Enfermagem do Brasil. Como subunidades de análise, elegeramse dois programas de Pós-Graduação. A coleta de dados ocorreu entre maio de 2017 e abril de 2018, com 23 discentes, por meio de entrevistas guiadas por roteiro semiestruturado e Análise Documental. Realizou-se Análise de Conteúdo Temática. Resultados: emergiram duas unidades de análise: Situações geradoras de prazer: as pontes construídas pela Pós-Graduação e Situações geradoras de sofrimento: os muros da Pós-Graduação, ambas discutidas em duas dimensões -organizacional e relações socioprofissionais. Considerações finais: os resultados podem contribuir para o planejamento de ações capazes de potencializar a criação de "pontes" que levem ao alcance do prazer na Pós-Graduação, impulsionando o enfrentamento de situações propulsoras do sofrimento discente. Evaluation of the effectiveness of nursing interventions in research from Brazilian postgraduation programs

PurposeThe purpose of this study was to evaluate research from Brazilian postgraduate students who provide evidence of effectiveness for Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC).MethodsWe conducted a literature review study of thesis and dissertations available in the Brazilian Digital Library of Dissertations and Theses (D/T) in May 2021 regardless of the year they were conducted. In those studies that did not utilize the NIC in the effectiveness evaluation, the cross‐mapping methodology was employed between NIC and the interventions used by the authors of the studies.ResultsUsing a systematic process, we identified 91 studies. Twenty‐seven met a priori inclusion and exclusion criteria. We found an increase in studies that focused on nursing interventions in the last 10 years (n = 19), a large proportion of clinical trials (n = 16), and the majority of articles from the Southeast region of Brazil (n = 20). The areas of focus were adult and elderly care, and with a special interest in the behavioral domain (n = 11). Two sensitivity criteria were identified in all D/T (n = 27), and each study presented evidence of effectiveness of a minimum of three criteria simultaneously.ConclusionsBased on the effectiveness criteria, the Brazilian scientific production in postgraduate programs carried out by nurses provides evidence of the effectiveness for NIC nursing interventions.Implications for nursing practiceIt is recommended to conduct further research that uses the NIC in the planning, conduct, and evaluation of interventions, based on effectiveness criteria of nursing sensitivity.
