Cooperação internacional em saúde do Brasil na era do SUS

Abstract: This paper addresses the role of health in Brazil's health diplomacy and international cooperation since the emergence of the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS), focusing in particular on South-South cooperation, in line with the priorities of the country's international technical cooperation since its creation. “…A cooperação estruturante em saúde (CES) é um modelo de cooperação sul-sul, desenvolvido pelo Brasil a partir dos anos 2000 e teorizado por pesquisadores da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) em 2009 (ALMEIDA et al, 2010;BUSS, 2018), que visa superar as assimetrias em saúde entre os países através de uma metodologia horizontal e baseada na determinação social da saúde BUSS, 2017).
