Objective: To unveil expressions of intrafamily violence experienced in childhood and/or adolescence by women who attempted suicide. Method: This is a study with a qualitative approach based on Oral Story. Participants were ten women with a history of suicide attempt, who experienced intrafamily violence in childhood and/or adolescence. The research was carried out at the Center for the Study and Prevention of Suicide, linked to a Toxicological Information Center in the city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Results: From the orality of women, the study allowed the emergence of the following representative categories of intrafamily abuse experienced in childhood and/or adolescence: psychological violence, rejection, neglect, physical violence and sexual violence. Final considerations: The study alerts to intrafamily violence as an aggravation related to suicidal behavior, offering elements that help in the identification of their expressions, which will raise awareness to suicidal behavior and consequently suicide prevention.

Objetivo: analisar o perfil, e descrever as características de crianças de 0 a 14 anos, que foram notificadas com violência infantil de 2007 a 2016 em um estado do nordeste do Brasil. Método: estudo descritivo, epidemiológico, realizado por meio de levantamento na base de dados SINAN-NET. Os dados foram coletados em outubro de 2015 e são referentes aos anos de 2007 a 2016. Resultados: Os dados de 6037 registros foram levantados e analisados revelando que as vítimas mais frequentes foram as crianças do sexo feminino, com idade de 10 a 14 anos, parda, residentes na zona urbana, Sobre os tipos de violência, destaca-se a a prevalência da violência sexual com 92% dos casos, física com 51,7%, e a psicológica com 73,14%. Conclusão: o perfil da Violência em crianças residentes no Estado experimenta um considerável aumento do número de casos notificados ao longo dos anos. Características regionais como prevalência do sexo feminino, faixa etária mais acometida, residentes em zona urbana, cor da pele parda, acometidas principalmente por violência sexual se fazem presentes.

Objective: to describe the violations of the fundamental rights of children and adolescents through violence. Methods: cross-sectional study of notifications of violations collected from the Information System on Protection to Children and Adolescents. Descriptive and analytical analyses were carried out by means of Chisquare tests for associations. Results: among the notifications, 61.2% were related to family and community living; 18.3% to education, culture, sport and leisure; 11.5% to freedom, respect and dignity; 8.5% to life and health; and 0.5% to professionalization and protection at work. There were 541 notifications making reference to violence, which included: 47.5% of sexual nature; white girls, 6 to 12 years old, and students, as main victims; and family members as the main perpetrators. Gender, age and schooling were associated with sexual violence. Conclusion: the fundamental rights of children and adolescents have been violated in most cases by the occurrence of violence of sexual, psychological, and physical nature, and negligence. Resultados: entre as notificações, 61,2% referiram-se à convivência familiar e comunitária; 18,3% à educação, cultura, esporte e lazer; 11,5% à liberdade, respeito e dignidade; 8,5% à vida e saúde; e 0,5% à profissionalização e proteção no trabalho. Registraram-se 541 notificações referentes à violência, as quais foram analisadas: 47,5% do tipo sexual; meninas brancas, 6 a 12 anos, estudantes, foram as principais vítimas; e pessoas da família como os principais praticantes. O sexo feminino, a faixa etária e escolaridade foram associados à violência sexual. Conclusão: os direitos fundamentais de crianças e adolescentes foram violados, na maioria das vezes, pela ocorrência de violências sexuais do tipo abuso, psicológicas, físicas; e negligência.
