“…Reinforcement concerning the use of condoms in all sexual relations was requested, because this is a practice still denied by older adults. The use of condoms, male or female, by sexually active people is the most effective way of reducing the risk of transmission of HIV and other STIs, which applies to every sexual intercourse (23) . The objective of the booklet was to raise the discussion on HIV/Aids, though other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) also need to be discussed with this specific population.…”
