ANATOMIA ÓSSEA E MUSCULAR DO CÍNGULO ESCAPULAR E BRAÇO DE Tapirus terrestris (PERISSODACTYLA: TAPIRIDAE)

Abstract: Tapirus terrestris (Linneaus, 1758) é um mamífero encontrado na América do Sul e em quase todos os biomas brasileiros. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever a anatomia óssea e muscular do cíngulo escapular e braço de Tapirus terrestris e comparar com outras espécies de mamíferos, principalmente equinos.
