Galvani et al (2020) and Graciano-Silva et al (2018) reported low integrity for small fragments (below 3 hectares) and a positive relationship between AREA and BII (Galvani et al 2020) but obtained high integrity for a relatively small fragment AREA (20 hectares) in Ribeirão Preto/SP.
