Abstract: Flexible transparent substrate materials, which was able to withstand high dynamic strain, in contrast to traditional substrate materials. A flexible and transparent material with advantages including transparency, stable size, and excellent corrosion and electrical resistance was provided. The polyimide(PI) film was prepared by introducing a structure with a high content of F atom and a fine optimization process to enhance the various properties of the film. However, the properties of the films were optimized… Show more

“…For example, fluorinated substituents are the most effective electronegative groups to improve the solubility, dielectric properties, and optical properties of PI, but high cost and environmentally-unfriendly properties limit their applications. [35][36][37] Although the incorporation of aliphatic rings has been shown to enhance optical transmittance of materials, it would perform a negative impact on thermal stability. 38,39 Rigidly non-coplanar and asymmetric structures can enhance optical transmittance and thermal properties of PIs, but their poor flexibility hampers solubility.…”

“…It remains challenging to achieve comprehensive improvements in their overall performance. For example, fluorinated substituents are the most effective electronegative groups to improve the solubility, dielectric properties, and optical properties of PI, but high cost and environmentally‐unfriendly properties limit their applications 35–37 . Although the incorporation of aliphatic rings has been shown to enhance optical transmittance of materials, it would perform a negative impact on thermal stability 38,39 .…”

“…23 For example, Cao et al used 4,4 0 -(hexafluoroisopropylidene) diphthalic anhydride (6FDA), 2,2-Bis [4-(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl] hexafluoropropanane (HFBAPP) to synthesize a transparent, corrosion-resistant polyimide film, the breakdown strength of PI film is 202 kV/mm, the dielectric constant is 2.1, and the dielectric loss is less than 10 À2 . 24 Chen et al synthesized two new fluorinated aromatic polyimides. 25 Because of the existence of the triphenylmethane and trifluoromethyl, the two polyimide films indicated intrinsic low dielectric constant (low-k) of 2.56 and 2.33 at the frequency of 10 kHz.…”
