Abstract: Widely disseminated in both national and international scenarios, greenhouses are agribusiness solutions which are designed to allow for greater efficiency and control of the cultivation of plants. “…Numerical calculations have primarily been experimentally verified with small models [12,13] and simple loads [14], which do not reflect the mechanical performance under complex loads [15]. Finite element calculation is a powerful tool, but the accuracy of the simulations of the generated models differs from reality due to the complexity of the joints between the elements of a structure and the loads that act on it [16,17]; therefore, tests that can support the calculations and improve their accuracy are needed.
