The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of different combinations of products applied through seed treatment, associated with the inoculation, in the development of soybean plants. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). The experimental design was a randomized complete block, with four repetitions in a factorial 4 × 11, being four soybean cultivars and 11 combinations of products associated with the inoculation in the treatment of seeds. At the stage (R 1 ) it was evaluated: plant height, leaf area, foliar chlorophyll content, number of trifoliate leaves, dry shoot mass, dry root mass, root length, root volume, nodules total number, viable nodules total number, nodules dry mass and foliar nitrogen content. The combination of products in the treatment of seeds, do not present phytotoxic effects in the characters related to the development, except for dry matter of aerial part and root volume. The combination of products in treatment of seeds influences negatively the nodulation, especially in the treatments with presence of nematicide. The inoculation performed in isolation or combined with fungicide and insecticide (I+FI) maintains nodule levels.

Resumo: A soja atualmente é um dos principais produtos do agronegócio brasileiro. Diversos fatores afetam a produtividade da cultura, entre eles o número de plantas estabelecidas merece devido destaque. Grande parte dos produtores brasileiros utiliza o tratamento químico de sementes com objetivo de melhorar o estande inicial de plantas. Neste trabalho se objetivou avaliar o desempenho inicial de sementes de soja tratadas quimicamente com os principais produtos disponíveis no mercado. Utilizou-se dois lotes da cultivar BMX Turbo RR, com distintos níveis de vigor, estes foram submetidos aos três principais tratamentos químicos do mercado. Foram avaliada emergência, índice de velocidade de emergência, comprimento e biomassa seca de raiz, área foliar. Ocorreu diferença entre os tratamentos, no lote de baixo vigor o tratamento quatro (fludioxonil, metalaxylm e tiametoxan) melhorou o desempenho, em sementes de alto vigor o tratamento não favoreceu o desempenho das sementes. Several factors affect the productivity of the culture, including the number of established plants deserves due attention. Most Brazilian producers use chemical seed treatment in order to improve the plant stand. This work aimed to evaluate the initial performance of soybean seeds chemically treated with leading products on the market. We used two batches of growing BMX Turbo RR, with different levels of vigor, these were subjected to three main chemical treatments market. emergency were evaluated, emergency speed index, length and root dry biomass, leaf area. Was no difference between treatments in the lot of low force treatment four (fludioxonil, metalaxylm and Thiamethoxam) improved performance in high vigor seed treatment did not improve the performance of seeds.

BACKGROUND: Chemical seed treatment is an established practice in agriculture to protect crops from soil-borne pathogens and pests. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) benefit plants by extending soil exploration as well as water and nutrient uptake. The objective of this work was to analyze the effects of combinations of seed treatments with doses of inoculant containing Rhizoglomus intraradices on vegetative development, root colonization and nutrition of Phaseolus vulgaris plants and soil microbiota.RESULTS: Seed treatment benefited the vegetative development and nutrition of beans, with the treatments metalaxyl + fludioxonil + tiabendazole and pyraclostrobin + thiophanate methyl + fipronil standing out regarding the contents of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn) of the aerial parts. Mycorrhizal inoculation linearly increased dehydrogenase activity, root biomass and total plant biomass, with increments reaching 27%. There was an interaction between seed treatment and inoculation dose for aboveground biomass and the contents of potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), sulfur (S), manganese (Mn) and root colonization, with expressive results for the combination of the two highest doses of inoculant with metalaxyl + fludioxonil + tiabendazole or pyraclostrobin + methylthiophanate + fipronil in the seeds.CONCLUSION: Chemical seed treatment and mycorrhizal inoculation benefited bean plants and their nutritional status. The best combinations for the bean crop were metalaxyl + fludioxonil + tiabendazole with 41.4 mg of the inoculant per 100 seeds and pyraclostrobin + thiophanate methyl + fipronil with 62.1 mg of the inoculant per 100 seeds.
