La mayor respuesta de resistencia esta vinculada a una translocación del segmento 2NS/2AS de Aegilops ventricosa, seguido de otros genes como Rmg8 y Rmg7 localizados en los cromosomas 2B (trigo hexaploide) y 2A (trigos tetraploide) respectivamente.
