Tristeza dos citros

Abstract: The citrus Tristeza, caused by Citrus tristeza virus (CTV), is a disease of economic importance, is present in the major citrus producing regions of the world. First observed in South Africa, it was introduced in Brazil in 1937, decimating about ten million trees budded on 'Azeda' orange (Citrus aurantium L.), intolerant rootstock to the virus.
