Abstract: online | memorias.ioc.fiocruz.brPhlebotomus argentipes, the vector of Indian kalaazar, has received much attention because of its transmission of Leishmania donovani (Mukhopadhyay & Mishra 1991). Surprisingly, very little information is available on the breeding habitats of P. argentipes.
