This paper analyzes the digitalization processes that involve social policies in their life cycle, from their inscription in what has been called 4.0 societies. The work is the product of e-interviews conducted with recipients of state interventions. It is concluded that: a) virtual environments constitute other spaces for the deployment of social policies that acquire relevant meanings and meanings for the study of their life cycle; b) the techniques involved in their study are part of a construction of the object of study that takes into account society 4.0 as the context of registration; and c) virtual environments are not devoid of interests, which, translated into algorithms, produce social stratification and distribute different capitals among users.
