Sexismo científico: o viés de gênero na produção científica da Universidade de São Paulo

Abstract: OBJETIVO Investigar desigualdades de gênero na produção científica de docentes da Universidade de São Paulo. MÉTODOS A população consiste em professores(as) da Universidade de São Paulo. O repositório Web of Science foi a fonte das métricas de publicação. Selecionamos as medidas: total de publicações e citações, média de citações por ano e por item, índice H e histórico de citações entre 1950 e 2019. “…Entre estas revistas de comunicaciones de acceso abierto se registran once publicadas en países latinoamericanos. No obstante, pese a que en otros países, áreas y disciplinas se ha incrementado el interés por investigar las brechas de género en el contexto de la producción científica(Astegiano et al, 2019; Ávila-Toscano & Rambal-Rivaldo, 2020;Cáceres & Díaz, 2022;Cisternas et al, 2021;García-Jiménez et al, 2022;Giner-Soriano et al, 2021;Gómez-Escalonilla & Serra, 2022;Oliveira-Ciabati et al, 2021), no se han encontrado artículos que se centren en el estudio de potenciales brechas de género en la producción científica que se publica en estas revistas y, particularmente, en el área de comunicación.
