Soluble or insoluble fibre in irritable bowel syndrome in primary care? Randomised placebo controlled trial

Abstract: Objective To determine the effectiveness of increasing the dietary content of soluble fibre (psyllium) or insoluble fibre (bran) in patients with irritable bowel syndrome.
