Abstract: Introduction Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) is a set of rare diseases caused by deficiency of lysosomal enzymes that lead to the accumulation of glycosaminoglycans (GAG) in tissues and organs, which, in turn, is responsible for the multisystemic clinical, chronic, and progressive symptoms.
