Antifouling Coatings via Tethering of Hyperbranched Polyglycerols on Biomimetic Anchors

Abstract: Hyperbranched polyglycerols (HPG) bearing terminal thiol moieties (HPG-SH) were synthesized via anionic-ring-opening multibranching polymerization of glycidol from pentaerythritol and subsequent 1,1′-carbonyldiimidazole (CDI) coupling with cysteamine.
