“…These results are encouraging, and they suggest a need for further scientific investigations. A recent study conducted in Brazil (Calheiros et al, 2018) characterized the sociodemographic profile of WH athletes and determined that most WH athletes have been engaged in this sport modality since childhood and still practice weekly training sessions. This study highlighted from this characterization that it remains important to better understand the profile of these athletes and to build new and specific investigations related to these profiles to best understand the health, well-being, and QOL outcomes of WH involvement for this population.…”
