This research is aimed at determining the physicochemical properties (resin, wax, balsams, pH, moisture, ash, and mineral contents) of propolis samples collected from different geographical areas in Morocco, as well as evaluating the antioxidant and antibacterial activities of these samples. The results showed the following values for physicochemical analysis: resin (17.42-58.01%), wax (21.31-70.12%), balsam (0.27-2.12%), pH (3.7-5.3), moisture (1.02-3.65%), and ash (0.72-5.01%). The phenolic and flavone/flavonol contents of samples were ranged between 6.74 mg FAE/g and 149.13 mg FAE/g and between 1.19 mg QE/g and 108.11 mg QE/g, respectively. The sample P3 presented also the strongest radical scavenging activity toward DPPH, ABTS free radicals, and FRAP assay with IC50 values of 0.021, 0.026, and 0.042 mg/mL, respectively. All propolis samples showed significant inhibitory effects against all tested microorganisms with MICs ranging from 0.28 mg/mL to 1.12 mg/mL for Gram-negative strains and from 0.002 mg/mL to 1.12 mg/mL for Gram-positive strains. A strong correlation was found between resin, total phenolic compounds, flavones/flavonols, and antioxidant activity. Linear discriminant analysis revealed that the samples studied were divided into two groups which were differentiated by the data of antioxidant activity, mineral contents, and antibacterial activity. It can be concluded that the physicochemical properties, mineral content, and biological activities of Moroccan propolis depend on their geographical and botanical origin.

N anotechnology is the science of very tiny objects with adjacent chemical and physical structures, as well as increased reactivity and solubility. When the active constituent is nanosized, the substance's stability is boosted due to its protection from oxidizing agents, other chemicals, and enzymes (Kirtane et al., 2021). It is predicted for nanotechnology to do significant advances in medicine, as gene therapy, imaging, and novel drug discovery and drug delivery in the treatment of several diseases as diabetes, cancer, and others, in addition to advances in electronics, material science, space research, and robotics (DiSanto et al., 2015;Mohamed et al., 2021). Nanotechnology has a broad and possible impact on veterinary medicine and improves the safety of domestic animals, production, and income to the farmers by using nanomaterials. Approaches in nanoscience have the potential to solve substantial challenges in the field of animal health. It has the potential to resolve dozens of new mysteries relating to veterinary fields (Şenel, 2020).Propolis is a plant resin obtained by bees via variety of plant parts to protect the hive from insects and microbes while also maintaining the hive's appropriate temperature and humidity, it is dark yellow to brown glue and balsam (Drescher et al., 2019). Propolis contains at least 300 components, with resins (50 %), waxes (30 %), essential oils (10 %), pollen (5 %), and other organic compounds (5 %) accounting for the majority. Phenolic parts and esters, as well as various kinds of flavonoids, terpenes, steroids, aromatic beta-aldehydes, alcohols, sesquiterpenes, and stilbenes, can all be found among the organic components. The interaction of these chemicals produces a synergic effect that is crucial to propolis' biological activity. Bunga telang adalah bunga dari tanaman Clitoria ternatea dikenal sebagai bunga kupu-kupu. Memiliki beragam aktivitas farmakologi sebagai antioksidan, antikanker dan antidepresan. Ekstrak bunga telang banyak digunakan dalam bidang kosmetik dan obat. Micellar based water adalah produk kosmetik yang berfungsi untuk membersihkan wajah atau make up dan mengunakan air sebagai pelarut utama. Tujuan penelitian adalah formulasi dan mengembangkan sediaan micellar dengan variasi konsentrasi polimer amfifil. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, formula 5 dengan konsentrasi polimer amfifil 1% adalah formula paling stabil dengan tampilan fisik jernih, tidak terjadi pengendapan, memiliki ukuran partikel 46,67 nm dan potensial zeta-28,4 mV. Kesimpulan, ekstrak bunga telang berhasil diformulasi menjadi sediaan micellar based water dengan aktivitas antioksidan (IC50) 1,30 mg/ml setara dengan ekstrak murni Kata kunci-Bunga telang, Ekstrak Micellar based water Polimer amfifil Antioksidan
