Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh rata-rata lama sekolah lansia dan kepemilikan jaminan pensiun dalam rumah tangga lansia terhadap lansia bekerja di Pulau Sumatera. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari Statistik Lansia Indonesia berupa data panel dari 10 Provinsi di Pulau Sumatera dari tahun 2014 – 2021 yang dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda dengan Eviews 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara simultan variabel rata-rata lama sekolah lansia dan kepemilikan jaminan pensiun dalam rumah tangga lansia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap lansia bekerja di Pulau Sumatera dengan nilai Adjusted R-squared sebesar 99 persen. Secara parsial, rata-rata lama sekolah lansia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap lansia bekerja di Pulau Sumatera sedangkan kepemilikan jaminan pensiun dalam rumah tangga lansia tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap lansia bekerja di Pulau Sumatera. This study aims to analyze the effect of the average length of elderly schools and the ownership of pension guarantees in elderly households on the elderly working on Sumatra Island. The data used in this study are secondary data from the Indonesian Elderly Statistics in the form of panel data from 10 Provinces on Sumatra Island from 2014 – to 2021 analyzed using multiple linear regression methods with Eviews 12. The results of the study showed that simultaneously variable average elderly school length and pension security holdings in elderly households had a significant effect on the elderly working on Sumatra Island with an Adjusted R-squared value of 99 percent. Partially, the average elderly school length had a positive and significant effect on the elderly working on Sumatra Island whereas the ownership of pension guarantees in elderly households had no significant effect on the elderly working on Sumatra Island.
