This paper deals with stand-alone type fuel cell hybrid generation system which contains a secondary cell. The stand-alone type fuel cell hybrid generating system consists of a full bridge converter and boost converter with secondary cell. Additionally, the system includes BOP(Balance of Plant) for running the cell and a reformer in order to stably supply a hydrogen. Also, this paper proposes operation strategies depending on the reformer, BOP and characteristics of fuel cell which has a changing output voltage depending on a load and a slow response at the beginning. The simulation and experimental results are shown to verify that the implementation of fuel cell-battery hybrid system is possible.
scite is a Brooklyn-based startup that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
