Este libro es el resultado de varias investigaciones científicas de sus autores, en el área de las ciencias sociales, que aportan de manera significativa a la academia, a la enseñanza y a la educación en general.

El libro Investigación cualitativa y sus características dentro de las ciencias sociales, muestra una forma didáctica y sencilla de hacer llegar a los estudiantes y profesores, el aprendizaje de la investigación, y más específicamente, de la investigación cualitativa, que se refiere a cualidad de las personas. El libro recorre con claridad científica, el enfoque de las ciencias sociales, y su gran relevancia en los retos que enfrenta la humanidad, donde conocer las características sociales puede significar una forma de descubrir las mejores maneras de aportar a los distintos problemas de nuestro entorno.
El presente libro es el resultado de un conjunto de investigaciones publicadas por los autores en el campo del comportamiento organizacional, donde buscan relacionar sus aportes a la mejora del proceso de investigación con un fin claramente pedagógico.
Este trabajo presenta la identificación, mediante la consulta de la bibliografía más actualizada, de aquellos conocimientos fundamentales que deben ser impartidos en los centros educativos y que deben priorizarse independientemente de los recursos tecnológicos disponibles. Para abordar el tema, primero seexpondrá de qué manera la pandemia del Covid-19, ha impactado de maneras disruptivas en la economía y la política y la sociedad, cambiando la forma y el contenido que debe impartirse en los sistemas educativos. Para ello se realizó una síntesis bibliográfica sobre los enfoques en la literatura más actualizada que haga referencia a la problemática planteada. Se evidencia que la mayoría de las investigaciones se inclinan a las formas de transmitir un contenido específico y no en qué y por qué es relevante educar y cómo lograrlo. Por último, se realizó un análisis sistémico sobre por qué son prioridades algunas habilidades que son susceptibles a ser enseñadas en contraposición con otras, ofreciendo conclusiones al respecto.
