El presente artículo tiene como finalidad analizar las competencias tecnológicas del docente como una alternativa de formación en tiempos postpandemia. Para la consecución de este trabajo investigativo se tomaron aportes fundamentales de, Centeno (2021), Finquelievich & Odena (2021), Flores & Flores (2021), Prendes & Cerdán (2021), Tancara (1993), entre otros, que describen la temática de forma clara y contundente. Por otra parte, la metodología utilizada se evidencia como documental bibliográfico la cual permitió extraer la esencia misma de las competencias tecnológicas docentes. La formación y actualización de conocimientos tecnológicos hace que el docente adquiera nuevas competencias, esto induce a que se genere un ambiente de aprendizaje ubicuo, innovando los procesos metodológicos y estrategias de aprendizaje. En consecuencia, la tecnología en el ambiente educativo permite desarrollar actividades de aprendizaje con estrategias innovadoras transformando el aula de clases en un lugar interactivo en el cual los estudiantes se apropien del conocimiento y mejoren sus destrezas y competencias educativas. En tal virtud, la tecnología, las aplicaciones informáticas y los softwares educativos se convierten en la herramienta esencial para el desenvolvimiento académico, induciendo al docente la utilización de estrategias de enseñanza novedosas y a su autoformación y autoeducación en aplicaciones educativas modernas.
