La Cuarta Revolución Industrial (4RI) permite que el avance exponencial de la ciencia y tecnología tenga un impacto cada vez mayor en las dimensiones orgánicas, psíquicas, culturales e interactivas de la naturaleza humana; sin embargo, los retos que trae consigo son cada vez más complejos y transversales. Por ende, el objetivo de este ensayo es analizar los principales retos en las dimensiones biológicas, psicológicas, sociales y contextuales frente al desarrollo de la cuarta revolución industrial. A fin de generar futuros espacios de diálogo que permitan un análisis detallado de cada una de estas dimensiones.
Las revoluciones industriales se han caracterizado por mantener un auge y marcar una tendencia a lo largo del proceso histórico-cultural de la humanidad. Esto se debe a que el avance científico y tecnológico es una realidad innegable que contribuye con el desarrollo humano. Como resultado, los avances tecnológicos han traído consigo un marcado progreso exponencial, tanto en conocimiento, como en problemáticas de tipo social y económico. Esto se debe a que los estados y las revoluciones involucran ciertas manifestaciones previas, tales como: El crecimiento asimétrico de los recursos, la diferenciación en todos los estratos y la generación de un sistema nuevo dentro del actual. Razón por la cual, una formación científica y ética requiere una cultura consolidada bajo una perspectiva humanista. Para ello, el presente proyecto consiste en una investigación teórica, enmarcada en los hitos de la revisión narrativa-conceptual, acerca de aquel constructo definido como Cuarta revolución industrial. Asimismo, se han de examinar los principales impactos de este paradigma emergente en las dimensiones biologicas, psicológicas, sociales y contextuales de la sociedad.
Se dice y se considera que tanto la ciencia como la religión son campos contrapuestos que merecen ser tomados en cuenta en diferentes espacios, tanto públicos como privados. En este artículo se realiza un análisis comparativo entre el Transhumanismo y la religión como un primer paso para establecer posibles espacios de diálogo entre ambas, así como para abordar su impacto en las dimensiones orgánicas, psicológicas, sociales y contextuales del ser humano.
Se habla y se considera que tanto la ciencia como el arte mantienen diferentes esferas de la realidad de manera independiente. Sin embargo, es necesario mencionar que tanto la literatura como la cinematografía han denotado con creces el desarrollo, incluso visionario, de los avances científico-tecnológicos del contexto histórico-cultural del ser humano. Sin embargo, junto a ellos se concebían al unísono, las distopías y sus diversas manifestaciones, al grado de plasmarse en aquel paradigma “High tech, Low life”, propio del género literario Cyberpunk. Razón por la cual, el objetivo de esta segunda parte implica observar el lado reverso del Transhumanismo, aquel que oscila entre la realidad y la ficción. Para ello, el análisis se realizará a través de sus manifestaciones literarias y cinematográficas dentro de la cultura popular, ya que de esta manera permitirá al ciudadano de a pie concebir próximos espacios de dialogo acerca de este futuro tan distópico, pero no tan lejano a la realidad que conocemos.
