A boundary element method is derived for solving a class of boundary value problems governed by an elliptic second order linear partial differential equation with variable coefficients. Numerical results are given for a specific test problem.
A time-stepping dual-reciprocity boundary element method is presented for the numerical solution of an initial-boundary value problem governed by a generalized non-linear Schrödinger equation. To test the method, two specific problems with known exact solutions are solved.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
