This research departed from the tradition of Indonesian culture that has been done by the communities because of the current globalization. Kaulinan Barudak Lembur is a traditional game performed by children in the countryside. Nowadays, children are starting to love the digital game compared with traditional games. The Kaulinan Barudak Lembur has many values which is important to be internalized to children because good values should be habits from an early age. One of many ways can be developed through the introduction of traditional games. This study aims to describe the type and characteristics of traditional games in Eco Bambu Cultural, Art, and Sport Center and to describe the character values contained in traditional game Kaulinan Barudak Lembur for children learnig in the Eco Bambu Cipaku Cultural, Art, and Sport Center, West Java. This research used qualitative method by using ethno pedagogical approach. Data in this research were collected by observation, documentation, interview, and recording. Technics of data analysis were collecting data, selecting data, interpreting data and taking conclusion. The results of this study were cultural literacy through the Kaulinan Barudak Lembur is able to develop the values of character education, such as religious value, cooperation value, responsible value, honesty value, caring value, selfconfidence value and curiosity value. It can be concluded that the Kaulinan Barudak Lembur is a traditional game that have to be preserved because it contains various values of character education that can contribute in creating good character for children from an early age. Furthermore, the implications of this research are to make children have good character from early age and to make tutors know that so many values of character education in that traditional game so they can implement that game to internalize good values for children.
This study aimed to capture aspects of Indonesian family life during a year of the COVID-19 pandemic. Data collected through online questionnaire survey, followed by 1048 participants with wide-ranged socio-economic status. The COVID-19 pandemic expands the vulnerability of families, brings economic pressure, symptoms of stress, disrupts food security and psychological welfare. However, the family tries to overcome and balance it by managing resources and increasing interaction and worship. They believe they can overcome problems, accompanied by the belief that the pandemic is a trial from the Almighty. An interesting finding was that during a pandemic, many families were stepping up their donations. The important findings of this study are the higher the stress level, the lower the social welfare, psychological welfare, and family resilience. Meanwhile, the social and psychological welfare of the family is positively influenced by the welfare of the child. Family resilience is directly and positively influenced by food coping strategies and social welfare, but is negatively affected by perceived stress symptoms. Economic pressures lead to higher social welfare which is manifested by better communication, decision making, donation, and family time management. The findings of this survey show the importance of families managing stressors and increasing family resilience.
The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, a disaster that shocked the whole world, has affected various aspects of people's lives, including the resilience of society, especially the poor. This study aims to see the condition of the resilience of the poor in Bandung in facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey method was chosen to obtain the latest data flexibly with a total of 200 respondents, through the distribution of a questionnaire of 40 items consisting of aspects of individual, family, and community resilience. The results show that individual resilience is very dominant during the COVID-19 pandemic disaster, this mutually affects family resilience and community resilience. The most dominant factor in the resilience of individuals and families is the factor of spirituality and optimism in facing this epidemic, the factors that affect community resilience are individual interactions in community activities in the security, social and religious fields
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan pelatihan Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik pendidik PAUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post-facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui angket dan studi dokumentasi. Pengaruh pelaksanaan pelatihan Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) diidentifikasi melalui perbandingan rata-rata antara data pre-test dan data post-test. Angket juga dikumpulkan lalu dianalisis untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan pelatihan Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) dan gambaran kompetensi pedagogik pendidik PAUD setelah mengikuti pelatihan Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah mengikuti pelaksanaan pelatihan Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), rata-rata kompetensi pedagogik pendidik PAUD menjadi lebih baik dibandingkan dengan sebelum mengikuti pelaksanaan pelatihan Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), atau dengan kata lain pelaksanaan pelatihan Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik pendidik PAUD. The influence of developmentally appropriate practice training program on improving early childhood education teachers’ pedagogical competence AbstractThis study aims to investigate the influence of the Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) training program on improving preschool teachers’ pedagogical competence. The study used quantitative approach with ex post-facto as its method. The data are collected by using questionnaires and documentation study. The influence of the Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) training program is identified through a comparison of the average mean score between pre-test and post-test. Questionnaires was also collected and analyzed to find out the process of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) training program and also to know the preschool teachers’ pedagogical competence after joining the Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) training program. The findings revealed that after joining the Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) training program, the average level of the teachers’ pedagogical competence improves. In other words, the Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) training program has a significant influence on improving the preschool teachers’ pedagogical competence.
