Estudo epidemiológico descritivo objetivou caracterizar as gestantes com Síndrome HELLP quanto aos dados sociodemográficos e obstétricos e levantar o número de casos dessa patologia. A população foi constituída por 14 gestantes com diagnóstico de Síndrome HELLP, confirmado por exames laboratoriais e avaliação clínica, e atendidas em Unidade de Cuidados Intensivo no período de janeiro de 2010 a dezembro de 2012. A coleta de dados ocorreu em 2013, com consulta aos prontuários, utilizando-se formulário com variáveis sociodemográficas e obstétricas. Os resultados evidenciaram que 64,3% das gestantes tinham acima de 26 anos; 92,9% eram pardas; 64,3% não realizaram o pré-natal; 78,6% não tinham história de complicações em gestações anteriores. Os resultados apontam dados semelhantes a outros estudos sobre o perfil epidemiológico da Síndrome HELLP e servem de alerta sobre a carência de informações nos prontuários.

RESUMOObjetivos: descrever a vivência de adolescentes durante o processo de parturição e a atuação da enfermagem obstétrica com base nos depoimentos das adolescentes e discutir à luz da literatura pertinente. Método: pesquisa descritiva, exploratória, de natureza qualitativa, com dez puérperas adolescentes do alojamento conjunto da Maternidade de Referência Estadual do Piauí, mediante entrevista semiestruturada analisada com os preceitos da análise temática. Resultados: permitiu identificar o aflorar de sentimentos e sensações das adolescentes no processo parturitivo como a dor e a satisfação de ver o filho e a inserção de tecnologias não invasivas de alívio da dor utilizadas pelos enfermeiros obstetras. Conclusão: As adolescentes reconheceram os benefícios das tecnologias não invasivas de alívio da dor para a redução do tempo do trabalho de parto e a importância da atuação do enfermeiro obstetra. Method: descriptive, exploratory, qualitative study, with ten teenage mothers from the rooming at State Reference Maternity of Piauí, through semi-structured interviews analyzed with the principles of thematic analysis. Results: it was identified the flourishing of feelings and sensations of teenagers in the birth process as pain and pleased to see the child and the inclusion of non-invasive technologies of pain relief used by midwives. Metodo: Estudio descriptivo, exploratorio, cualitativo, con diez madres adolescentes desde el alojamiento conjunto de maternidad Estado de Piauí de referencia, a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas analizadas con los principios del análisis temático. Resultados: identifican el florecimiento de sentimientos y sensaciones de los adolescentes en el proceso de nacimiento como el dolor y el placer de ver al niño y la inclusión de tecnologías de alivio del dolor no invasivo utilizado por una comadrona. Conclusión: Los adolescentes reconocen los beneficios de las tecnologías no invasivas de alivio del dolor para la reducción del tiempo de trabajo y la importancia del papel de la enfermera obstetra.
RESUMO: A violência sexual constitui uma violação dos direitos humanos, se revelando como um problema de saúde pública. Objetivo: caracterizar as mulheres vítimas de violência sexual quanto aos aspectos sociodemográficos e epidemiológicos. Método: estudo retrospectivo quantitativo, realizado no Serviço de Atenção às Mulheres Vítimas de Violência Sexual no Piauí. Foram investigados 74 prontuários com diagnóstico de violência sexual entre 2013 a 2014. Utilizou-se o software Statistical Package for the Social Science, versão 20.0 para calcular as estatísticas descritivas apropriadas às variáveis da pesquisa. Resultados: o estudo mostrou prevalência na faixa etária entre 18 e 27 anos, a maioria de cor parda e com ensino fundamental, predominando mulheres solteiras e de baixa renda. Conclusão: os resultados apontam que a violência sexual tem várias facetas, indistingue etnia, classe social e idade requerendo, assim, o planejamento de ações mais resolutivas e complexas no âmbito social e da saúde.
