O objetivo deste texto é apresentar os primeiros resultados de uma pesquisa que busca mapear as teorias e os/as autores/as que alicerçam as pesquisas no campo da Comunicação no Brasil. De forma específica, o artigo enfoca o mapeamento realizado acerca da área Comunicação e Política, tendo em vista os textos apresentados no grupo de trabalho homônimo do evento anual da Compós, em um período de dez anos (2006-2015). A partir dos 99 textos que compõem o corpus, identificamos: os/as autores/as (nacionais e estrangeiros/as) de destaque; os eixos teóricos e conceituais que constituem a perspectiva de cada um/a; e como tais autores/as e abordagens são acionados pelos/as pesquisadores/as do GT.
Este trabalho busca refletir sobre uma questao aparentemente ultrapassada, e de certa forma dada por resolvida, que e a do estatuto te6rico do objeto "comunica~ao» (da comunica~ao enquanto objeto de estudo, ou dos paradigmas da comunica~ao). Para empreender essa reflexao, tomiimos como referencia um estudo empirico sobre a cidade de Belo Horizonte, capital do estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil, voltado para a aniilise da comemora~ao de seu primeiro centeniirio.Apresentado desta maneira, talvez nosso trabalho indique um alcance limitado, ou pelo menos um interesse apenas localizado e especifico. Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é mapear autores e teorias utilizados como referência por pesquisadores da área de comunicação e sociabilidade no Brasil. O corpus selecionado inclui 98 artigos da Compós no período de 2006 a 2015, coletados do grupo de trabalho homônimo. Esses resultados integram uma pesquisa mais ampla que almeja identificar as teorias contemporâneas que sustentam o campo da comunicação no país. A análise destaca dois eixos centrais nos estudos inscritos nessa área: o próprio sujeito (a questão da subjetividade, da autonomia e da opressão); 2) a sociedade em que ele se inscreve (a sociedade capitalista, de classes, mas também a sociedade em rede formada pelos novos dispositivos tecnológicos).
A proposta deste artigo é refletir sobre como o conceito de acontecimento pode ser orientador e/ou operador metodológico na área da Comunicação. Para isso, começamos apresentando a noção pragmatista de acontecimento. Depois, destacamos alguns vieses analíticos: o poder hermenêutico do acontecimento para busca de sentidos em jogos de temporalidades e enquadramentos; a passibilidade do acontecimento para análise de experiências, afetações e configuração de públicos; a dupla vida do acontecimento para investigar as dimensões existenciais e simbólicas de um fenômeno; a espetacularização para estudos de acontecimentos midiáticos; e a individualização do acontecimento para interpretar suas particularidades e o contexto social que faz emergir.
O objetivo deste texto é discutir o papel das celebridades na sociedade midiatizada contemporânea, marcada pela fragmentação da experiência. Para tanto, retomamos a noção de experiência de Walter Benjamin e sua reflexão acerca dos choques vivenciados pelos sujeitos, os quais os impulsionam a buscar formas de reconstrução de vínculos na vida cotidiana. O texto procura apontar algumas contradições e ambiguidades no pensamento do autor em relação a esse conceito, com o objetivo de ressaltar um aspecto central: a vivência de choques
