Objetivo: Identificar deficiências nutricionais na literatura ao longo do pós-operatório e verificar a adequação da suplementação e dieta em pacientes submetidos à cirurgia de bypass gástrico em Y de Roux. Métodos: Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico de artigos científicos de 2013 a 2021 por meio das bases de dados PubMed, SciELO, Periódico Capes e LILACS. Resultados: Foram encontrados 110 artigos, dos quais 12 atenderam aos critérios deste estudo. Os resultados mostraram que ao longo do pós-operatório, o déficit de ferro aumentou significativamente e o uso de suplementos vitamínicos, assim como a adesão à dieta, ainda representa um fator de inadequação e que contribui para o surgimento de deficiências nutricionais. Considerações finais: Torna-se indispensável o monitoramento após a cirurgia pelo médico e por um nutricionista, principalmente em longo prazo, tanto na identificação de deficiências nutricionais quanto à aceitação de suplementos e uma alimentação adequadavisando minimizar riscos à saúde.
Objetivo: Avaliar a etiologia da doença celíaca, assim como a prevalência de pacientes celíacos com diagnóstico de ansiedade e depressão. Revisão Bibliográfica: Pesquisas apontam que a doença celíaca apresenta tanto sintomas clássicos intestinais como sintomas não clássicos, ou extraintestinais, incluindo anemia ferropriva, fadiga e cefaleia/distúrbios psiquiátricos, entre outros. Devido à falta de conhecimento dessas diversas manifestações atípicas, podem ocorrer atrasos no diagnóstico, levando a diminuição da qualidade de vida dos pacientes. Além disso, a dieta livre de glúten e o estilo de vida mais restritivo também podem ser fatores contribuintes para o desenvolvimento de ansiedade e depressão, devido a sensações de privação e de evasão social, podendo comprometer o relacionamento interpessoal desses indivíduos. Considerações finais: O único tratamento é uma dieta isenta de glúten, o que pode comprometer a absorção de nutrientes essenciais, e favorecer o aparecimento de sintomas psiquiátricos, colaborando para uma relação positiva entre a doença celíaca e o desenvolvimento de ansiedade e depressão.
