Problematizamos resultados parciais de pesquisa-observatório, com foco na distância-aproximação entre comunidade científica e mundo do trabalho. Egressos(as) da pós-graduação (PG), mestres e doutores(as) são potenciais protagonistas nessa interface. Verificamos que titulados(as) melhoram suas condições de vida, mas há pouco aproveitamento dos resultados das suas teses e dissertações no espaço de trabalho e baixa contribuição para a sociedade, caracterizando desperdício de recursos públicos. Discute-se os limites da noção de impacto da pesquisa, centrada em publicações.
RESUMO:Este trabalho busca fazer uma reflexão sobre o significado da educação diante das certezas e in(certezas), frente aos desafios na formação de professores na contemporaneidade. Embasados em referenciais teóricos na perspectiva crítica buscamos por meio da reflexão elementos para uma maior compreensão do mundo em que vivemos e em que nos propomos a educar pessoas. Procuramos pensar o que está ocorrendo nas correntes subterrâneas da história, uma vez que pensar a educação e formação de professores, numa perspectiva ampla, deve ser levado em conta que estes são os formadores do nosso povo. Propõe-se, portanto, tencionar o educar hoje a partir de uma racionalidade que vá além da razão instrumental, tendo por base a educação e valores que permeiam o mundo contemporâneo. Diante da complexidade dos processos educacionais, torna-se fundamental a compreensão dos processos de formação inicial e continuada de professores, a partir de uma análise de novas perspectivas de racionalidade possível, levando-se em consideração a totalidade do processo, o contexto histórico e social em que ocorrem. Sobretudo, as contradições que podem ser percebidas, em termos de racionalidade, na implementação das políticas públicas de educação, podem trazer importantes contribuições para a superação das limitações que têm cerceado importantes projetos que caminham em outra perspectiva, ou seja, além da racionalidade instrumental. A partir de resultados de pesquisas realizadas na última década, no contexto da Pós-graduação stricto sensu (PG), discute-se o impacto da formação pós-graduada e seus limites. Acúmulo recente de trabalhos críticos ao produtivismo acadêmico leva a refletir sobre o papel dos egressos da PG na sociedade. A expansão do sistema de PG resultou em que muitos mestres e doutores exercem atividades distintas da docência superior, para a qual, até meados da década de 1990, a PG formava. Nesses outros espaços não é possível reproduzir o que se aprendeu no curso. Como empregar os resultados de pesquisa em espaços laborais? A pergunta não costuma ser discutida durante a formação. Historicamente deposita-se na ciência esperanças de melhorias para a vida; porém, qual o impacto efetivo das pesquisas/publicações. O emprego de resultados de pesquisa no mundo do trabalho requer processos que não foram aprendidos na PG; nela se aprende a investigar sob orientação, a produzir tese ou dissertação, produzir e publicar artigos, participar de eventos científicos. Se o egresso publicou em periódicos “Qualis” (de preferência internacionais e em inglês) cumpriu com as expectativas dos órgãos avaliadores/financiadores da PG. E a contribuição com a sociedade? Que benefícios têm as comunidades/regiões com a instalação em seus territórios de profissionais que aprenderam a pesquisar? Busca-se evidenciar neste trabalho a relevância de fomentar comunidades científicas locais, que criem sinergia entre egressos da PG e outros protagonistas sociais instalados num determinado território, para impactar o desenvolvimento econômico e social.
