Este trabalho buscou identificar as espécies de árvores já plantadas e verificar a sua interferência em calçadas e na rede aérea de telefonia e de eletricidade no bairro Jardim das Flores, no município de Dourado (SP). As espécies foram identificadas e classificadas. As condições das calçadas foram observadas e as árvores, cujas copas atingiram a rede aérea, foram enumeradas. Foram encontradas 35 espécies, num total de 254 indivíduos (62% das plantas exóticas e apenas 38% nativas). A maioria das calçadas com árvores não possuíam pavimentação (46,25%) ou apresentava danos (16,25%); apenas 37,5% estavam em boas condições. Dos 254 indivíduos catalogados, 9,06% conflitavam com a fiação mais baixa (telefonia); destas, 10 árvores também atingiram a rede de baixa tensão, e quatro ainda alcançaram a rede de alta tensão. A maioria das árvores (90,94%) não estava em conflito com a rede aérea. O estudo revelou que a diversidade de espécies é adequada à arborização urbana, mas falta planejamento e orientação aos moradores quanto à escolha das espécies.
