O número de sujeitos que comporão o recorte etário da terceira idade dentro de alguns anos se apresenta como um número alarmante dentro do contexto social hodierno, com o aumento da população idosa consequentemente cresce as demandas por atendimentos específicos como decorrência das doenças inerentes à fisiologia humana que atinge a terceira idade. A doença de Parkinson se apresenta como relevante dentro desse contexto ao mesmo que se estima a existência de mais de 440 mil indivíduos com Parkinson até o ano de 2030, apenas no Brasil. Através desses dados, a presente pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender a percepção de homens com Parkinson tanto sobre a doença em si como sobre os aspectos simbólicos, estéticos e práticos dos produtos de moda em busca de descobrir embasamento para o desenvolvimento de produtos através da metodologia de Design centrado no usuário. A pesquisa se classifica, quanto aos objetivos, como descritivo e quanto a abordagem como quanti-qualitativa. Para isso, foi realizado entrevistas com uma amostragem de 20 homens acometidos pela doença, identificados através de 3 grupos do Facebook voltados para a discussão acerca do Parkinson. Com os resultados, foi possível observar o impacto da doença na rotina dos acometidos e junto a isso compreender a percepção de valor projetada em produtos de vestuário por homens com Parkinson.
Há um crescente fenômeno em desenvolvimento na sociedade que gira em torno da expansão da terceira idade no Brasil, devendo triplicar até pelo menos o ano de 2050. Com isso, consequentemente, acarreta em uma série de demandas industriais que deve borbulhar e despontar em um ambiente que não se encontrava propício primariamente a esse público consumidor. Nessa perspectiva, deve-se adaptar e produzir artefatos, especificamente discutindo nesse trabalho, os produtos de moda, que atenda e potencialize tanto essa demandar porvir, como sejam metodicamente preparados às especificidades fisiológicas, físicas e psicológicas desses indivíduos. Inerente ao envelhecer, o processo acarreta uma série de complicações corpóreas que podem levar à intensificação de doenças, dentre elas, recorta-se, nessa pesquisa, enquanto essência, a doença de Parkinson. Dessa maneira, o objetivo desse artigo é compreender a maneira que mulheres acometidas por Parkinson enfrentam o seu dia a dia, assim como projetam e entendem seus objetivos de valores através das funções estéticas, práticas e simbólicas de produtos de moda. Para tal, a pesquisa se classifica como descritiva de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. Para atingir esses fins, aplicou-se uma entrevista baseada no Parkinson’s Disease Questionnaire – 39 usando uma ferramenta online com 40 mulheres acometidas por Parkinson, convidadas através de grupos do Facebook voltados ao Parkinson. Como resultado, conseguiu-se concluir que a maior dificuldade enfrentada está em retirar as peças de roupa, a seguir, valoriza-se em maior média a praticidade e as respondentes indicaram o velcro como melhor substituto para os fechos usados pela indústria.
A doença de Parkinson é uma condição cognitiva e degenerativa que atinge majoritariamente pessoas da terceira idade, alterando e comprometendo toda a vida motora do acometido, bem como sua independência. Alguns dos sintomas mais conhecidos são os tremores e a rigidez muscular, consequência disso, o desconforto social e a falta de contato humano tomam palco de destaque, à medida que o constrangimento de frequentar eventos públicos e se sujar durante o ato de comer se torna uma realidade, gerando depressão e transtornos de ansiedade. Dito isso, o presente artigo tem por objetivo sugerir uma proposta de produto de vestuário, onde seja possível alinhar informação de moda, aumentando sua função estético-simbólico, abrangendo os aspectos visuais considerados como elegantes e bonitos a partir do público-alvo trabalhado, com a função prática específica, aumentando a autoestima dos usuários, proporcionando uma melhor qualidade de vida às mulheres com Parkinson na terceira idade, tendo como foco o seu âmbito social. Esse projeto foi executado através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica com abordagem exploratória, aliada as metodologias de desenvolvimento de produto de Mike Baxter e Bernd Lobach. Como resultado geral, obteve-se como produto uma capa social que conseguiu equilibrar apelo estético com a praticidade conferida através de um tecido com características impermeáveis.
Este artigo estuda a coleção de moda 'Plastic' da estilista Vitória Cuervo, buscando analisar as estratégias artísticas e discursivas utilizadas pela estilista na inclusão de pessoas com deficiência em suas coleções de moda, porém, o que é mais provocador, sem excluir as demais pessoas. Assim, para compor a análise, foram feitas pesquisas bibliográficas, utilizando a semiótica tríadica de Peirce como embasamento, sua noção de signo e seus conceitos de primeiridade, secundidade e terceiridade, investigando desde a construção das peças de vestuário da estilista aos editoriais de divulgação, objetivando-se trazer à tona discussões acerca da inclusão de pessoas com deficiência na moda. Como resultado, obteve-se uma análise dos componentes dos produtos de moda confeccionados, como estampas, cores, funcionalidades e outros aspectos estéticos; ao seguir para os editoriais, foi possível debater as atitudes das poses dos modelos, bem como o modo com que as peças foram posicionadas ao se interagirem com os mesmos e, por fim, discutiu-se acerca do conceito buscado pela coleção e das suas implicações à longo prazo para o mundo.
Com a centralizacao do usuario nos processos de design, o atendimento aos acometidos por Parkinson surge como oportunidade de inovacao. Essa doenca altera celulas nervosas do cerebro, tornando o acometido por Parkinson uma pessoa com limitacoes. Os tremores caracteristicos da doenca sao um dos sintomas mais conhecidos e que geram preocupacoes sociais, onde o ato de comer em publico e sujar-se, mostra-se como limitante para frequencia em eventos. Este artigo objetivou sugerir uma proposta de produto de moda, possibilitando alinhar estetica, os aspectos visualmente atrativos pelo usuario, com praticidade, aumentando a autoestima dos utilizadores, permitindo qualidade de vida as pessoas com Parkinson, no ambito social. Executou-se etapas de levantamento bibliografico exploratorio, aliado a metodologia de Baxter e Lobach como norteadora do desenvolvimento de produto. Resultando em uma capa masculina, efetivamente equilibrando apelo estetico com praticidade, atraves de caracteristicas impermeaveis.,
