The article deals with the transfer of freight from road freight to railway freight transport. In railway transport, individual wagons or groups of wagons with a maximum number of five are used. Combined transport is used for commodity flows. Goods are loaded in ISO 1 containers with an outer length of 20 or 40 feet. Special ramps allow goods to be transported from the ramp to the container and vice versa. The system can be used for storage device, distribution and logistics centres with railway connections to public railway transport.
This paper deals with security of logistic chains according to incorrect declaration of transported goods, fraudulent transport and forwarding companies and possible threats caused by political influences. The main goal of this paper is to highlight possible logistic costs increase due to these fraudulent threats. An analysis of technological processes will beis provided, and an increase of these transport times considering the possible threats which will beis evaluated economic costs-wise. In the conclusion, possible threat of companies'' efficiency in logistics due to the costs', means of transport and increase in human resources' increase will beare pointed out.
The paper is concerned with the inland waterway transport in the Czech Republic, which has been considerably stagnating since the 90´s of the last century. The unfavorable development of the waterway transport has an adverse influence on the development of transport companies, shipbuilding industry and, last but not least, the national economy. In future, the waterway transport can play an important role especially in transporting the energy sources.
The paper deals with specific aspects regarding the current development trends of electromobility in the context of road freight transport. The current system of electric vehicles for road freight transport and the relevant investigations are based on the experience with operating trolleybuses, which have the same power supply of traction motors from the overhead traction line by means of traction pantographs. As for the future, it has not been decided yet which electromobility-related power system will be used in practice, whether the supply of electric motors from traction lines or battery packs. In the introductory chapters, the manuscript discusses the fundamental information regarding the electromobility, current projects dealing with this issue, individual aspects and attributes related to these existing power systems, and their advantages and disadvantages in terms of their usage. In the most important part of the manuscript, the adequate evaluation is performed, as well as very recommendations for future research in a given topic are proposed.
