This article explores the book of al-Sunnah Qabla al-Tadwīn by M. Ajjaj al-Khatib, an Islamic thinker who is an expert in the field of hadith science, coming from the city of Damascus. The purpose of this paper is to uncover, study and find out about the biography of M. Ajjaj al-Khatib and how systematic and fleeting about discussing the contents of the book al-Sunnah Qabla al-Tadwin then related to the rebuttal of Ajjaj al-Khatib sunnah. Then do not need attention about the advantages and disadvantages that exist in the book. The method used in this paper is a descriptive-text analysis method for the book as-Sunnah Qabla Tadwīn by using a supported book.
This paper examines the hadith about women becoming leaders from a textual and contextual perspective M. Syuhudi Ismail. This shows that the hadith should not always be understood merely textually, but rather by paying attention to the socio-historical and context of the hadith. The purpose of this paper is to uncover and know about how the understanding of women's traditions becomes a leader in the textual and contextual review of Shuhudi. The approach used is a descriptive-analysis approach. The results of this study are: first, the textual hadith of the appointment of women as leaders is prohibited and at that time women did not have authority at all. Second, the contextual understanding of the hadith of women becoming leaders changes with time as time goes by. So that in this context Syuhudi's contextual understanding is that women may become leaders on the condition that they have authority, are able to lead and society accepts if women are leaders. In this case Syuhudi did it by looking at an analysis of asbab al-wurud and the macro context in the Persian region. Third, M. Syuhudi Ismail classifies the traditions of women into leaders as traditions related to the current situation (developing). Therefore the hadith must be understood contextually, because the contents of the hadith instructions are temporal.
This article examines the study of the hadith book, namely the book al-Nihayah fi al-Fitan wa al-Malahim by Ibn Kathir which refers to the biography of Ibn Kathir and the general description of the book, its characteristics, methods and systematics of discussion, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the book. This article aims to examine the book al-Nihayah fi al-Fitan wa al-Malahim in a comprehensive manner, and to provide lessons for readers to know the events of the last day. The method used in this writing is descriptive-qualitative method. The result of the research is that this book is compiled to complement the previous book entitled Al-Bidayah wa Al-Nihayah. The main discussion is about various kinds of slander or disasters, wars and major events towards the end of time and a picture of life in the hereafter. The systematics of this book begins with the theme of the Prophet's messages, regarding the signs of the end for Muslims, starting with the signs of a fire in the Hijaz region until the fall of Prophet Isa As. The method used is a thematic method, and the theme raised is eschatological hadith. Referring to sources such as the Koran, hadiths, and other narrations accompanied by explanations of the truth of the hadith. This book consists of one volume with two discussion chapters. The discussion in this book also describes several traditions (having different eyes but has the same meaning) and describes a hadith that ends with an explanation of the traditions of the hadith in the book.
Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang metode, pendekatan dan corak tafsir Alquran. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode deskriptif-analisis. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengupas dan menganalisa tentang metode, pendekatan dan corak dalam tafsir Alquran. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa; pertama, metode tafsir adalah suatu cara, langkah-langkah, ataupun kerangka yang harus ditempuh ketika melakukan penafsiran Alquran, sehingga dalam hal ini terdapat beberapa metode penafsiran Alquran, yaitu; metode tafsir tahlili, ijmali, muqaran, maudhu’iy dan hermeneutika. Kedua; pendekatan tafsir adalah sudut pandang dari prosesnya tafsir akan membuahkan corak, sehingga antara pendekatan dan corak tafsir itu saling keterkaitan antara keduanya. Adapun pendekatan dalam tafsir adalah pendekatan tekstual, kontekstual, bahasa, historis dan sosio-historis. Ketiga; corak tafsir adalah suatu nuansa, dominasi, warna ataupun kecenderungan pemikiran atau ide yang mendominasi suatu karya tafsir dan yang termasuk kepada corak tafsir Alquran adalah corak falsafi, fiqhi, sufi, ‘ilmi, adabi al-ijtima’iy. ABSTRACT: This paper examines the methods, approaches and styles of interpretation of the Koran. The method used in this paper is descriptive-analysis method. This paper aims to analyze and analyze the methods, approaches and patterns in the interpretation of the Koran. This paper concludes that; first, the method of interpretation is a method, steps, or framework that must be taken when interpreting the Koran, so that in this case there are several methods of interpreting the Koran, namely; the methods of interpretation of tahlili, ijmali, muqaran, maudhu'iy and hermeneutics. Second; the interpretive approach is the point of view of the interpretation process which will produce a style, so that the approach and style of interpretation are interrelated between the two. The approaches to interpretation are textual, contextual, linguistic, historical and socio-historical approaches. Third; Tafsir style is a nuance, domination, color or tendency of thoughts or ideas that dominate a work of interpretation and which is included in the interpretation of the Koran are philosophical, fiqhi, sufi, 'ilmi, adabi al-ijtima'iy features.
