Waste management is problems are almost faced by all cities in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to manage waste management with environmentally sound management in accordance with the mandate of Law No. 18 of 2008 on waste management. The aspect highlighted in the management of waste management in Pontianak City is the technical aspect of waste management and non-technical operations so that it can be known whether management of waste management is environmentally sound or unlike the bill of legislation. Pontianak City makes application-based innovations in managing garbage. The purpose of this research is to describe, analyse, and interpret, as well as recommendations on: (1) Waste management management covering technical aspects of operational and non-technical. (2) Environmentally sound and application-based waste management management. The methods used are qualitative descriptive, approach study studies, data sources derived from interviews with informant, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is interactive model analysis by reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions and verification.
Desa Wisata Teluk Berdiri di Sungai Kupah memiliki potensi yang sangat bagus dan baik untuk kedepannya. Namun, potensi sumber daya Desa Wisata Teluk Berdiri belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Belum optimalnya kegiatan wisata disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor penghambat, meliputi: masih minimnya kemampuan warga desa dalam mengembangkan objek desa wisata. Karena masih kurangnya kemampuan masyarakat desa dalam hal mengembangkan perjalanan wisata, membuat minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung mengalami penurunan pada tiga bulan terakhir. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dari data jumlah kunjungan objek Desa Wisata Teluk Berdiri yang belum terlalu ramai dikunjungi oleh masyarakat. Maka, saat ini diperlukan pendampingan kepada masyarakat, diantaranya kebutuhan akan data dan informasi tentang kondisi dan keberadaan sumber daya, serta dukungan untuk pengembangan Ekowisata Teluk Berdiri nantinya. Pengabdian pada masyarakat menggunakan model kolaborasi Pentahelix. Target sasaran pendampingan adalah Pokdarwis, dibawah organisasi Bumdes Sungai Kupah. Dengan adanya pendampingan ini, Pokdarwis Sungai Kupah diharapkan mampu mengembangkan desanya melalui inovasi dan kreatifitas secara mandiri, sehingga bisa mempercepat pertumbuhan desa wisata baik dari segi ekonomi, sosial, budaya, maupun lingkungan alamnya. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat sudah diberikan pelatihan dan dibekali kompetensi tentang pengelolaan desa wisata sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, sehingga setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan ini masyarakat tidak jalan di tempat dalam pengelolaan potensi desa wisata dan makin percaya diri dalam mengelola desa wisata.
Covid-19 is a non-natural disaster that has shocked countries in the world since the end of 2019 until now and its spread has not been controlled, various efforts have been made by the virus pandemic countries including Indonesia. Its spread occurs in almost every province in Indonesia, one of which is West Kalimantan Province. To prevent the spread of the virus, regional disaster management agencies (BPBD), with various parties, undertake mitigation of its spread and efforts to heal trauma during the pandemic. This study aims to determine the models and strategies of BPBD in mitigation, trauma healing efforts carried out during the pandemic and to find out the obstacles of BPBD in mitigation in West Kalimantan Province. The method used is descriptive qualitative, data sources obtained from interviews with informants, observation and documentation. The analysis technique uses an interactive model by reducing, presenting, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study produce models and strategies for mitigating non-natural disasters with a collaborative strategy and a pentahelix approach. Trauma healing efforts have been carried out to provide understanding to the community with preventive measures. The obstacles faced in mitigation include the low level of public awareness in maintaining health protocols and the lack of incomplete SWAB equipment in every district / city.
Permasalahan sampah hampir menjadi masalah yang dihadapi bagi setiap negara di dunia. Penangangan sampah yang tidak tepat dapat menimbulkan masalah bagi lingkungan sekitar. Kawasan taman sabang merah merupakan kawasan yang sering dikunjungi oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Sanggau, khususnya anak-anak muda. Sebagai kawasan yang terdiri dari taman, fasilitas umum, arena-arena serta masih terdapatnya lahan kosong yang tidak produktif, masih terdapat fasilitas yang tidak terurus dan berfungsi serta permasalahan sampah. Maka dari itu perlu penanganan agar kawasan tersebut memberikan dampak positif baik bagi masyarakat maupun lingkungan. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya kegiatan yang berjdul Pemanfaatan Taman Sabang Merah Sebagai Media Edukasi Bagi Karang Taruna Kelurahan Bunut Dalam Mewujudkan Masyarakat Peduli Lingkungan Melalui Usaha Ekonomi Produktif Dengan Pendekatan Go Green & Collaborative Approach. Pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan dengan berbagai aktifitas dan kegiatan merupakan salah satu solusi, diantaranya edukasi tentang lingkungan bagi kelompok sasaran yaitu karang taruna Kelurahan Bunut, pengolahan sampah ramah lingkungan, pengolahan lahan kosong menjadi lahan produktif sehingga menjadi usaha ekonomi produktif bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan tersebut menggunakan metode seminar, FGD serta pelatihan, dengan demikian kelompok sasaran mampu menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi secara nyata di Kawasan taman sabang merah. Luaran yang dihasilkan dalam kegiatan ini berupa artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada media cetak/elektronik serta diseminarkan dalam seminar nasional sehingga dapat menjadi referensi bagi pihak lain dalam menerapkan bidang ilmu yang sama.
