With the research and application of IntelligentTransportation System, there is a higher requirement for solving the optimal path problem in large scale transportation networks in real time. In order to get the effective optimal path algorithms for the actual transportation networks, three optimal path algorithms are chosen to be parallelized. The parallel optimal path algorithms are then implemented based on dualcore processor and the speed-up ratio and efficiency of parallel algorithms are tested and analyzed in actual Xi'an road networks with 4525 nodes and 6616 paths. The experiment results show that the parallel algorithms devised in this paper are efficient and the speed-up ratio of the three parallel algorithms are satisfied in solving optimal path problems in large scale networks.World Congress on Software Engineering 978-0-7695-3570-8/09 $25.00
This paper proposes a new And/Or parallel execution model (FORDAP) for logic programs which can not only exploit full Or- and independent And-parallelism, but also can exploit dependent And-parallelism with a limited increment of runtime cost. A synchronization mechanism is constructed on a shared variable between its producer and its consumers and a consumer with a large granularity is decomposed further to let its subgoals independent to that producer to execute without delay. A granularity computation algorithm is presented for the control of a goal's decomposition.
In this article, we make a comparison between the development of software engineering and industrial engineering, big software designing and some new thinking about the development of software are proposed. Then we promote a “six-oriented practical theory” which was extracted from the practical experience and could serve as a start point of software development practice. The theory not only unravels the relationship between the software engineering and industrial engineering, but also will direct the practice of software development in various related fields.
In this paper , the meta-data oriented method in software engineering is illustrated in detail. Summarize that the four methods, which are procedure-oriented, object-oriented, meta-data oriented, and formalization modeling, consist a relatively complete software engineering methodology. This paper also proposed a practical theory on software system implementation, which is flow-oriented analysis, meta-data oriented design, object-oriented implementation, functionality-oriented test and procedure-oriented management.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
