Em regiões urbanas e periurbanas, as áreas de empréstimo representam um exemplo comum de áreas degradadas. Nas cidades também são frequentes os problemas de destinação dos resíduos sólidos. O lodo de esgoto estabilizado (biossólido) e os resíduos da poda vegetal constituem um substrato promissor no desenvolvimento de espécies arbóreas em áreas degradadas. O presente trabalho avaliou sobrevivência e crescimento inicial de mudas de espécies florestais e savânicas do Cerrado, em tratamentos com diferentes dosagens de lodo e de resíduos de poda, em área de empréstimo. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados com nove tratamentos e três repetições, totalizando 27 parcelas. Foram testados os efeitos de três níveis (doses) dos dois fatores (Lodo - L e Poda - P): L0P0 (controle); L0P1 (122,5 Mg.ha-1 de poda); L0P2 (245 Mg.ha-1 de poda); L1P0 (270 m3 .ha-1 de lodo); L1P1; L1P2; L2P0 (1.080 m3 .ha-1 de lodo); L2P1; e L2P2. Em cada parcela foram plantadas 60 mudas (seis por espécie) das 10 espécies testadas. A maioria das espécies florestais (Anadenanthera colubrina, Copaifera langsdorffii, Peltophorum dubium, Senegalia polyphylla, Schinus terebinthifolius, Sterculia striata e Tabebuia impetiginosa) apresentou alto percentual de sobrevivência e relativo crescimento nos tratamentos com dosagens combinadas dos resíduos ou com dosagens de lodo. Espécies savânicas (Alibertia edulis, Alibertia sessilis e Tabebuia aurea) apresentaram pouco crescimento nos tratamentos testados. T. aurea apresentou o menor percentual de sobrevivência no experimento. O uso de espécies florestais do Cerrado para revegetação de área de empréstimo urbana, em tratamentos com biossólido e resíduos de poda, apresentou resultados satisfatórios.
