This article analyzed the learning experience of students at home during the school closing period in response to the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Through this study, an in-depth understanding of the life experiences, perceptions, and motivation of students were obtained from either the school or their parents. These outputs would be input into policy making and solving learning problems towards a new normal era. Now the school closures have been running for almost seven months and it almost about to reopening this mid-August 2020. To understand this phenomenon issue, some data searching have been performed ranging from daily papers, academic journal, and educational related literature. The data search then analyzed under the phenomenological application approach. Compiling the existing data and students voices, this study showed that the students learning experiences during six month learning from home responding the national policy stopping the corona virus spreading can be reported based on 10 websites visited have expressed their best coverage over students learning difficulty and challenge from different perspectives. Most websites mentioned students hardship in learning from home caused the lack of learning resources such not access to internet and parents ability to support their children learning. This study aims to examine the process of developing performance appraisal instruments and descriptions by referring to the lecturers of the Mathematics Tadris Study Program IAIN Palopo and analyzing their responses. This type of investigation uses research and development (Research and Development). Four phases follow it in the Plomp development model: the first phase, which is investigation-based; then there is the design phase; then there is the realization phase; then there are the test and evaluation phases. And finally, there is a revision phase. The results showed that the percentage of lecturers' performance by category, namely 14.28% was in the very high category, 57% was in the high category, 28.72% was in a low category, and 0% was in the deficient category. This shows that maximum efforts are needed to improve the performance of lecturers so that they are even more optimal in the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education in the Mathematics Tadris Study Program IAIN Palopo. This study implies the importance of understanding the performance appraisal mechanism for each lecturer so that it can be used as a basis for improvement and career development.
The study aimed to determine the picture of audio visual based learning media planning in Indonesian subjects. This type of research is descriptive qualitative to find the nature or experience of a person with a phenomenon that is the governance of audio visual based learning media. Data was collected through: stakeholder involvement through the planning of Larompong 1 High School learning media management. Audio Visual Based learning media governance is obtained through two data sources namely informants and documents. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation and focus group discussions. The results of the study show: The governance of audio visual based learning media planning begins with the selection of instructional media tailored to the material and learning objectives in the RPP with the principles of using audio-visual media and refers to the Minimum Completeness Criteria. Students who get the KKM value exceeds the KKM value that has been set by the school means that the student has been able to study thoroughly, conversely if students who get the KKM value is smaller and the KKM value that has been set by the school then the student is said to have not finished learning. Students will be given remedial services by subject teachers and for those who have met the KKM, then given enrichment.
Abstract This study aims to determine the educational supervision plan, educational supervision feedback for the principal or teacher, and the techniques used in educational supervision at SDN 246 Rantebelu Kecamatan Larompong Kabupaten Luwu. The type used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation study. The research subjects were teachers and administrative staff. The results showed that: (1) the education supervision plan carried out at SDN 246 Rantebelu Kecamatan Larompong Kabupaten Luwu is to prepare RPP, syllabus, list of scores, absence of annual programs and semester programs. (2) educational supervision feedback to the principal or teacher, namely verbal (verbal), providing comments on the results of direct observation of the learning process through face-to-face, no distance or equipment used. This method is usually carried out by talking to each other / dialogue, interviews, meetings, speeches, and discussions. Apart from that, giving comments can also be done indirectly through intermediary tools such as telephones, cellphones, etc. because of the distance between the speaker and the interlocutor. Non-verbal (written), providing comments on the results of observations of the learning process by means of writing without direct conversation using short, clear, and understandable language by the recipient. This method can be in the form of correspondence, sms, e-mail, learning photos, and so on. (3) There are 2 types of techniques used in SDN 246 Rantebelu Kecamatan Larompong Kabupaten Luwu, namely direct supervision, which means that the supervisor goes directly to the class to see the learning of students from beginning to end. While administrative supervision is only the administrative aspects that are assessed. Keywords: educational supervision
