Ser professor é ser pesquisador é um livro escrito com o intuito de pensar práticas docentes embasadas na ideia de que a pesquisa, além de produzir novidades para a humanidade, também pode ser uma metodologia de ensino com a qual o docente pode ajudar seu estudante a construir novidades para si. Os textos baseiam-se nos princípios piagetianos, especialmente, na ação como ponto fundamental para a aprendizagem. A obra, organizada por Fernando Becker e Tania Beatriz Iwaszko Marques, tem 10 capítulos escritos por 12 educadores.
Este trabalho teve como objetivo descrever o processo de construção e validação de um questionário destinado à identificação de crenças sobre o ensino da temática alimentação saudável no ambiente escolar. O questionário foi elaborado utilizando uma escala do tipo Likert, para constatar o grau de concordância do participante com cada afirmativa proposta. As afirmativas foram estruturadas com base na literatura das áreas de nutrição e de educação e foram avaliadas por especialistas, que analisaram conteúdo, formulação e pertinência. A versão final do questionário foi composta por 54 afirmativas, que foram agrupadas em eixos, de acordo com o conteúdo. O questionário consiste em um instrumento para identificação das crenças relacionadas ao ensino da temática alimentação saudável, que pode ser aplicado em diferentes atores envolvidos com a alimentação escolar, permitindo, entre outras possibilidades, constatar a visão tanto de profissionais como de acadêmicos da área de educação e nutrição sobre o assunto.
Há muitas teorias que tentam explicar a possibilidade de conhecer. Se há muitas teorias é porque esse é um tema desafiador que merece grande atenção. O Empirismo, que entende a mente como uma máquina fotográfica registrando o real tal e qual, sem nada a acrescentar a ele, vê o sujeito como tábula-rasa. O Apriorismo, por sua vez, tem a noção de que a mente humana já é algo pronto, acreditando que a criança nasce com todas as estruturas perceptivas, sendo papel da maturação desperta-las. No entanto, acreditamos ser o conhecimento construído pelo sujeito, sendo este agente de sua aprendizagem, e não um ser passivo, como julgam o Empirismo e o Apriorismo. Com isso, tem-se o Construtivismo, cuja base teórica é a Psicologia Genética, fundamentada em uma epistemologia interacionista. Se o conhecimento é construído, então as estruturas também são e se desenvolvem tanto em aspectos biológicos quanto cognitivos. As estruturas evoluem, isso quer dizer que os conhecimentos por ela assimilados também podem evoluir. É o que afirma Piaget quando menciona os estádios do desenvolvimento intelectual do sujeito. Além disso, contrário a que muitos acreditam, Piaget considera a influência da sociedade como um dos fatores do desenvolvimento intelectual do sujeito. E é justamente nessa interação com a sociedade que o sujeito constrói conhecimentos fundamentados, muitas vezes, no senso comum. De acordo com o Construtivismo, as estruturas evoluem, passando de um patamar para outro. Então seriam os conhecimentos do senso comum base para a evolução de conhecimentos formais?
