The main purpose of the study is to analyze the features of the integration of innovative technologies in the context of the professional training of literature teachers. The role of education in general and higher education in particular is being transformed from the status of a resource for the development of society into the status of a leading public sphere. The boundaries of the growth of modern civilization are determined precisely by education, its quality and availability. In order to adequately respond to the modern challenges of education, a new formation of dynamic teaching staff is needed, they constantly update their professional knowledge, know how to live and work in an innovative environment. As a result, the key aspects of the integration of innovative technologies in the context of the professional training of literature teachers were identified.
<p style="text-align: justify;">The purpose of the study was to identify how the Personal Branding Marathon with the involvement of the Ethics Supervisory Committee could influence the teacher self-branding in the settings of the digital environment if the ethics of communication is given paramount importance. The study used qualitative and quantitative methods such as a semi-structured in-depth interview, a self-assessment checklist, and an expert assessment checklist. The Triangular Assessment Method was used to obtain participants’ judgments about the importance of every specified component of the self-branding viewed from their perspective in terms of implementation. The yielded data were processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0.0.1. Software. The novelty of the study lies in the way the teacher self-branding was organised and delivered. The Marathon created a community of individuals with similar needs and the environment facilitated and assisted by the experts to put the teachers in the ‘point of no return’ situation. The Marathon with the involvement of the Ethics Supervisory Committee was found to positively influence the teacher self-branding in the settings of the digital environment if the ethics of communication is given paramount importance. The intervention raised the teachers’ awareness of self-branding, enhanced/upgraded the tools and strategies of self-branding, and improved their communication and communication ethics, particularly. The teachers became more professionally advantaged, self-efficient, and confident as individuals. The intervention was found to help the teachers built-up a strong self-brand on the Internet and at the workplace. They also improved their communication skills in terms of ethics as the participants were assisted by the communication expert.</p>
The paper examines the difficulties teachers and students face while teaching and learning Business English in Ukrainian higher institutions; identifies and evaluates the problems of teaching English to future lawyers; determines the main methods and methodological approaches in teaching English for Specific Purposes and Business English to future lawyers. The authors describe a project recently piloted at the Academy of the State Penitentiary Service (Chernihiv, Ukraine) in which law students participated in the attitude survey toward learning the English language. In this study, feedback and quantitative methods were used to analyse the data of surveys. The teachers' and students' responses to survey questions were examined. The results showed a shift from a teacher-centred to a student-centred approach in university teaching and student preferences in learning English. The study calls for the enhancement of teaching the essential professional skills in English that students need to succeed in making their pathway choices and enable continuous growth throughout a legal career. Research findings are discussed with due regard to the surveyed students' needs and personality-oriented principles in legal education. The results indicate a need for methodological innovations that will support meaningful learning and boost the students' and cadets' productivity and efficiency of teaching and learning process.
