Results Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase negative staphylococci were the two most common organisms isolated. Resolution of the ulcer was achieved in 93% and 87% of cases in the ofloxacin and control groups respectively.
This is the first clinical study in which polytetrafluoroethylene in the form of suture has been studied. Polytetrafluoroethylene suture was found to be a safe and effective sling material for frontalis suspension and it can be recommended for clinical use.
