The young generation has interesting topics to support, where in the life of the younger generation there will be interesting dynamics of life to learn. Young people who certainly have a young age are also in an emotionally unstable situation. The various dynamics of life of the young generation that are often discussed is a matter of hedonism. Most young people may not know the dangers of hedonism behavior. Cultural changes due to the behavior of hedonism have become commonplace that are considered normal. Indonesia as a country that makes Pancasila as the basis of the state should apply all values contained in the Pancasila in everyday life. According to (KBBI) Hedonism is a view that considers material pleasure and enjoyment as the main goal in life. If the youth is immersed in this thought, it will certainly harm themselves and others. (Reihan, 2019) shares five ways to avoid the nature of hedonism, namely learning minimalist life, wisely in social media play, setting priorities, don't always look up, selectively choose friends. Besides that, Pancasila as a guideline of course can overcome this problem of hedonism. (Suprayogi, 2018, p. 220) states that the Pancasila as Weltanschauung nation and state life must be taught to the younger generation. This if done will help foster a nationalist sense and make Pancasila a guideline in everyday life.
The matrix effect of various metals on the analysis of nickel and palladium in destruate of catalysts of Butonian asphalt-derived asphaltene by atomic absorption spectroscopy have been investigated. Samples were dissolved by wet decomposition method using aqua regia and then followed by concentrated H2SO4. The solution was evaporated to dryness on a sand-bath. Study of matrix effect was carried out by comparing the absorbance of Ni and Pd with and without the adding of various concentration of metals in the samples. The calibration curve and standard addition methods were applied in the analysis of Ni and Pd. Result of the study showed that matrix effect toward absorbance of Ni is mostly caused by Al and Si contents in the concentration range of 200-500 ppm. Al content in the concentration of 500 ppm, and Si content in the concentration range of 100-500 ppm cause the matrix effect in the analysis of Pd. However, the change in absorbance of Ni and Pd is still below tolerable limit of 10%. The content of Ni in Pd-Ni / zeolit-Y, Ni-Pd/ zeolit-Y, Mo-Ni/ g-alumina, and Ni-Mo / g-alumina with calibration curve technique were 7.44 ± 0.021; 7.62 ± 0.052; 7.75 ± 0.054; and 2.69 ± 0.062 respectively and with standard addition technique were 6.82 ± 0.066; 7.23 ± 0.112; 7.39 ± 0.099; and 2.35 ± 0.055 respectively. Pd content in Pd-Ni / zeolit-Y and Ni-Pd/ zeolit-Y with calibration curve technique were 2.74 ± 0.044 and 2.49 ± 0.051 and with standard addition technique were 2.90 ± 0.015 and 2.69 ± 0.042. Keywords: matrix effect, analysis of nickel and palladium, aqua regia, H2SO4
Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco is one of the type a lot of tobacco cultivated in Indonesia, Tobacco this many used as ingredient raw cigarette cigarettes, pipe tobacco and tobacco Susur (chewing tobacco). Leaf tobacco contain many compound very decisive chemistry the quality and taste of the resulting cigarettes, one of which is is sugar. Sugar content in tobacco give mild taste in cigarettes, but if rate too tall precisely will causes burning and irritation esophagus. However Thus, in SNI-01-4401-2006 it is not yet formulated method testing total sugar content. On research this conducted validation determination total sugar content in FCV tobacco with method phenol-sulfate by UV-Vis spectrophotometry aimed at get valid method for determination total sugar content of Virginia Flue Cured tobacco. Validity method showed through the parameters of linearity, precision, determination of LOD and LOQ, and accuracy. Test started with hydrolysis tobacco use sour 4.5% sulfate. Solution extract be read with UV-vis spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 490 nm with dye phenol-sulphate. Linearity test results curve obtained value of r = 0.9997 in the range work 20 – 100 mg/L, accuracy test results with 7 repetitions obtained the value of % recovery is 98.19 – 101.62%, LOD and LOQ test results respectively of 1,009 mg/L and 3,362 mg/L, while precision test results obtained deviation relative standard of 1.025%, result this still under the value of 2/3 CVH is 1.86. From the results of the t-test obtained score tcount of 0.85, the result this moresmall from table ie 2.18. Validation result method for all parameters tested has Fulfill condition acceptance so that method phenol sulfate could used in determining rate glucose FCV tobacco routine
Bacterial leaf blight is a disease in rice plants caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. The use of resistant varieties is an effective, economic and easy way to do it, but it is limited by time and place so that it needs to be induced by the addition of salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is one of the compounds that can activate enzymes that play a role in plant resistance to pathogen infection. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of salicylic acid to rice varieties to induce its resistance to bacterial leaf blight. The research was arranged in a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor used was mekongga rice varieties (V1); Ciherang (V2); and IPB 3S (V3), while the second factor is the concentration of salicylic acid consisting of 0 mM (K0); 7.5 mM (K1); 10 mM (K2); and 12.5 mM (K3) with each treatment repeated 3 times, and in each study unit there were 5 plants. Results showed that the addition of salicylic acid and the use of three varieties of rice can suppress the severity of the disease HDB, its resistance status increases when compared to control and increases the content of the phenol. The best treatment of 10 mM salicylic acid concentrations with Mekongga varieties (K2V2) can suppress the severity of the HDB disease by 18.47% by showing a moderately susceptible endurance status as well as the content of the phenol increased. Keywords : Salicylic Acid, Varieties of Rice, Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae
