The field of social innovation (SI) has received a growing interest from academia and policymakers from the past two decades. This research aims to identify research trends in the field of social innovation. For this purpose, we have carried out a bibliometric analysis on data from the previous 54 years, i.e. 1966-2019 from the Scopus database. This analysis is based on a bibliometric analysis of all published 'articles' in the SCOPUS database. The phrase "Social Innovation" was searched in title or abstract to search for the relevant articles. This research is carried out to investigate parameters such as publications in line with the years, subject areas, top journals, top authors and countries contributing to the SI field, collaborations and co-occurrence of keywords. Finding demonstrated that Frances R. Westley (University of waterloo) is the most prolific author in the SI field. Additionally, through an analysis of the top journals, we identified that 'Sustainability' is the top journal and that field is multidisciplinary. We have noticed a significant increase in the published articles in social innovation domain since 2016. This leads us to the conclusion that the topic has gained relevance among the academicians in recent years. The number of publications are expected to increase following this publication trend. We used VoS Viewer visual bibliometric analyser to identify the co-occurrence of keywords and co-authorship of countries. We found that Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship, Social Enterprises, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and governance are the focus areas of social innovation research. Some variables with infrequent occurrences, limitations and future recommendations are also discussed.

Innovation is a significant method of ensuring excellence and competitiveness for contemporary organizations. Therefore, employees are highly motivated to involve in innovative behavior which comprises developing novel and beneficial ideas, sharing ideas of your own or other people to colleagues, and putting those ideas into practice. This bibliometric analysis aims to have a deeper understanding and an advanced knowledge about “innovative behavior” both theoretical and recent research developments using the Scopus database. The study was carried out to see the patterns in publication between 1961 and 2019; authors, journals, countries, academic discipline, research institutes/universities, and various keywords relevant to “innovative behavior” were used as search words. After thorough consideration and the use of multiple checkpoints to remove irrelevant studies, 931 research papers were reviewed. In the analysis of authors’ keywords “innovation” was the most frequently occurred among other keywords. The data has shown a stronger link between “innovative behavior” and “innovation” with 34 occurrences. We noticed that “innovative behavior” has the highest occurrence with 264 times with 37 links and 235 total link strength in which the innovative behavior links with some variables such as leadership, organizational commitment, knowledge sharing, entrepreneurship, psychological empowerment, organizational culture, work engagement, innovative climate, and employee behavior. These are the major concepts that occurred within “innovative behavior” research. Along with future guidelines and study limitations, certain variables with infrequent occurrences are also discussed.

The finance and natural resources revenue nexus play a critical role in an economy. The recent development and significant increase in academic literature regarding the resource-finance nexus are the primary motivations for conducting this study. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of 363 documents published between 1976 and 2021 collected from the Scopus database. The results have been demonstrated via graphs, tables, knowledge maps about the past trends, growth, and prospects using co-occurrence, co-authorship, and co-citation analysis via the VOSviewer tool. This study has identified prolific authors, journals, countries, academic institutions, and future pathways. The findings indicate that China has the highest share of publications (88, 24.2%), followed by Pakistan (58, 15.9%) and Turkey (37, 10.2%). The most productive academic institution is the Beijing Institute of Technology in China (13, 3.6%). This study proposes new avenues for further research concerning the resource-finance nexus, such as ecological footprint, sustainability, fiscal decentralization, green investment, energy prices, environmental quality, technological innovation, financial resource curse (especially the stock market resource curse), human capital, and renewable energy in policy development and sustainability towards the achievement of the SDGs.
