Objetivo: Evidenciar os fatores inerentes ao desenvolvimento de lesão por pressão e as recomendações para prevenção dos mesmos utilizando a Escala de Braden. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica narrativa descritiva, realizada por meio da biblioteca virtual Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), do buscador acadêmico Google Acadêmico e nas bases de dados Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e Base de Dados de Enfermagem (BDEnf), utilizando os descritores “lesão por pressão”, “medição de risco” e “cuidados de enfermagem”. Foram selecionados 20 artigos para discussão. Resultados: A compreensão dos fatores de risco que favorecem o aparecimento de lesão por pressão mostra-se de grande relevância, pois os mesmos representam um contratempo que afeta o paciente física e psicologicamente, atrasando assim seu processo de recuperação. Para avaliação do risco de desenvolvimento de lesão por pressão, o enfermeiro deve utilizar rotineiramente, além da Escala de Braden, a avaliação clínica e a anamnese, o que facilita o processo de sistematização da assistência por meio da avaliação, da elaboração do diagnóstico de Enfermagem, da prescrição e da evolução de Enfermagem. Conclusão: A utilização da Escala de Braden possibilita conhecer as características dos pacientes aos quais se presta assistência e, se aplicada corretamente, antecipar intervenções que visem a prevenção de lesão por pressão. É mais satisfatório prevenir uma lesão do que facilitar a sua instalação para posteriormente tratá-la.
Objetivo: Descrever a experiência acadêmica em uma roda de conversa sobre alimentação saudável e atividade física no Programa HIPERDIA. Relato de experiência: Procurou-se discutir a temática com os participantes da roda de conversa de maneira holística, partindo do pressuposto da realidade financeira de cada um, a importância de garantia de alimentos a todos os sujeitos, as dietas (adesão e fuga), a prática de atividade física atrelada à boa alimentação e exposição da pirâmide alimentar adaptada à população brasileira. Conclusão: Percebeu-se que a roda de conversa possibilitou aos participantes a ampliação do autoconhecimento. A relação acadêmicos-usuários foi bastante positiva. Procurou-se promover uma comunicação dialógica, moldando os conhecimentos expostos pelos participantes ao melhor contexto social e de saúde ao qual cada um estava inserido.
Objetivo: relatar a experiência de uma ação de educação em saúde como estratégia de prevenção de infecções sexualmente transmissíveis em profissionais do Setor de Distribuição de Energia Elétrica. Método: trata-se de um relato de experiência sobre uma prática de educação em saúde realizada em dezembro de 2021 com profissionais do Setor de Distribuição de Energia Elétrica, de um município do nordeste. A elaboração ocorreu em três etapas: avaliação diagnóstica situacional, a promoção da educação em saúde e avaliação pós-ação educativa. Resultado: desenvolveu-se práticas de educação em saúde através da realização de teste rápido de HIV, Sífilis, Hepatite B e C, orientação sobre as principais formas de transmissão e prevenção, aconselhamento pré-teste e pós-teste e aplicação de avaliação pós-ação educativa. Conclusão: as ações de educação em saúde são importantes ferramentas para a promoção do conhecimento sobre as formas de prevenção e do tratamento de infecções sexualmente transmissíveis.
OBJETIVO: Descrever a atuação do enfermeiro no controle da Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica e da Diabetes Mellitus na Atenção Primária à Saúde. MATERIAIS E MÉTODOS: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo e exploratório com abordagem qualitativa do tipo estudo de campo, desenvolvido com enfermeiros que atuavam na Estratégia Saúde da Família do município de Altos, estado do Piauí. Participaram deste estudo sete enfermeiros. Os dados foram coletados entre setembro e dezembro de 2015. Para tanto, utilizou-se um roteiro de entrevista com questões abertas aplicadas àqueles que aceitaram participar voluntariamente da pesquisa. Por envolver seres humanos, este estudo passou pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa do Instituto Camillo Filho, com Nº de Parecer 1.220.142. RESULTADOS: Quando questionados sobre como desenvolviam atividades para controle da hipertensão e da diabetes, alguns enfermeiros entrevistados relataram esforços para execução das ações do Programa HIPERDIA. Dentre os relatos podem ser elencados como obstáculos a dificuldade de adesão do usuário ao Programa, a ausência de atividades multiprofissionais, o desenvolvimento parcial das ações do HIPERDIA e a realização de apenas algumas técnicas para controle e acompanhamento da hipertensão e da diabetes. CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS: Por meio dos relatos dos enfermeiros entrevistados percebe-se significativo esforço para execução das ações do Programa HIPERDIA, com prioridade para protocolos preconizados pelo Ministério da Saúde e busca ativa de hipertensos e diabéticos dentro de seu território.
OBJETIVO: Descrever as atividades desenvolvidas por uma enfermeira em Unidade de Diagnóstico por Imagem de um Hospital Universitário. MÉTODO: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo do tipo relato de experiência que descreve a atuação da enfermeira a partir da sua atividade profissional no período de novembro de 2014 a março de 2019. RESULTADOS: A atuação do enfermeiro está voltada para o cuidado do usuário submetido a procedimentos diagnósticos e terapêuticos em que se faz necessário conhecimentos e habilidades de gerência de enfermagem; planejamento e implementação da assistência de enfermagem; educação em saúde e segurança do paciente. CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS: A atuação do enfermeiro nesta unidade visa evitar riscos e garantir a segurança do paciente a partir do desenvolvimento de ações planejadas, educativas, gerenciais, de ensino e pesquisa.
