There are many classifiers that are used for diagnosis of diabetes but the result of this paper shows that how logistic regression having best accuracy among the other classifiers. Logistic regression removes the disadvantages of linear regression. There are different classifiers that are used for prediction. In the worldwide millions of peoples are suffering from diabetes according to WHO report. In the medical region, many researches have done with the help of data mining. The aim of this paper is to diagnosis of diabetes by using the best classifiers and providing best parameter tuning. The study helps to find whether a patient is enduring from diabetes or not using classification methods and it further investigate and evaluates the functioning of different classification in relations of precision, accuracy, recall & roc
Building Information Modelling (BIM) offers tremendous advantages to multidisciplinary teams from a coordination standpoint throughout the project lifecycle. That said, there are potential pitfalls with the use of BIM if coordination and communication between the disciplines is not properly managed, resulting in rework and inefficiencies in delivery. Agile project management techniques, widely adopted within the software industry to allow incremental development of products, have great potential for application to BIM model development throughout the project lifecycle. These techniques focus on simple and regular communication between core project members and stakeholders, regular priority identification to set the goals for the next phase ("Sprint") and incremental product development. Applied to BIM model development, these techniques provide a framework for multidisciplinary coordination and interface management and reduce redesign and abortive effort from miscommunication and poor task sequencing. This paper presents two case studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach. In the first, an Architectural BIM model was created at schematic design and these techniques were used to guide the development of the design and the associated BIM model. In the second, a BIM model was created during the operational phase of a building to consolidate the data from a variety of facilities management and operations systems (maintenance, asset management, health and safety, sustainability and space planning). In each, the various stakeholders are consulted to set priorities for model development, which are incrementally implemented. These case studies demonstrate the benefits of using an Agile approach to BIM and inform the framework presented in this paper.
-In this paper, a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based embedded system has beenproposed for non-invasive detection of hemoglobin in blood using photoplethysmography. Photoplethysmography (PPG) is a non-invasive and low-cost optical technique that can be used to detect blood volume changes in the micro-vascular bed of tissue. Our investigations revealed that volume of water present in blood considerably affects the reading of the concentration of blood hemoglobin. In our current work, the proposed device is developed with monitoring of PPG waves at three wavelengths so as INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL ON SMART SENSING AND INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS VOL. 6, NO. 3, JUNE 2013 1267 to compensate for the error due to absorption of near infrared radiation (NIR) by water in the blood. The device also has been developed to be robust enough to tolerate distortions in the waveform due to motion of the subject. In order to sense the motion of the subject a 3-axis accelerometer has been used and correction is suitably applied to the sensed waveform. As a result, it is possible to measure the concentration of hemoglobin in blood while the subject is on the move.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
