Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar o Curso de Formação Continuada para Professores da EJA, ofertado na modalidade de Ensino à Distância (EaD) pelo Instituto Federal Catarinense (IFC). O desenvolvimento do curso foi resultado de uma parceria entre o Ministério da Educação (MEC), o IFC e escolas das redes municipal e estadual de ensino de Santa Catarina. A parceria compreendeu a destinação de recursos federais para a oferta de cursos de qualificação profissional articulados com a EJA, em que as escolas assumem o ensino básico, e o IFC, a qualificação profissional. No bojo desta parceria, o IFC também teve como objetivo a oferta de um Curso de Formação Docente para a EJA em EaD, direcionado aos professores das escolas de educação básica (100 vagas) e professores do IFC (20 vagas). O curso foi desenvolvido por uma equipe de professores do IFC durante os anos de 2020 e 2021 e resultou na elaboração do Projeto Pedagógico do Curso, de um Caderno Pedagógico, bem como na organização didática do curso no Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem -Moodle. O curso está em andamento, teve início em outubro de 2021 e compreende 100 horas de atividades, divididas em 5 módulos. A mobilização em âmbito estadual de ações voltadas à EJA e consequente procura pela realização do curso, indica que parcerias entre os institutos federais e escolas parceiras podem ser um caminho para a ampliação da formação docente na EJA e fortalecimento dos preceitos da EJA-EPT nas escolas de educação básica.
