-49 - RESUMoDiante do crescente potencial de consumo das camadas de baixa renda, esta pesquisa se baseia nas escalas de Babin, Darden e Griffin (1994) e de Machleit, Kellaris e Eroglu (1994) com o objetivo de investigar o comportamento de compra hedônico e utilitário relacionado à percepção de crowding (aglomeração) do consumidor de baixa renda em dois centros de consumo. A partir da pesquisa quantitativa, realizada com 404 consumidores em ambiente real de varejo, os resultados revelaram que os indivíduos dos dois locais mostraram-se propensos ao comportamento utilitário e demonstraram sentir-se mais incomodados pela aglomeração no centro de consumo com menor infraestrutura. Houve indícios de que esse incômodo foi menos intenso em consumidores hedônicos.
Esta pesquisa investiga o comportamento do consumidor em condio de alta densidade de loja, relacionando percepo de crowding, emoes e satisfao do consumidor em duas cidades, com diferentes aspectos culturais. A partir de uma pesquisa quantitativa com 401 consumidores em ambiente real de varejo, os resultados mostram, conforme esperado, a influncia da varivel cultura nos construtos relacionados. Na cidade de interior, onde a aglomerao encarada de forma positiva, a percepo de crowding foi menor e a satisfao de compra e emoes positivas maiores. Na capital, onde os aspectos negativos da alta densidade so mais intensos, houve maior percepo de crowding, menor satisfao de compra e mais emoes negativas. DOI: 10.5585/remark.v11i3.2371
Este estudo buscou investigar a relação entre estratégia e desempenho por meio da identificação dos tipos de estratégia executados pelas empresas no segmento de confecções, bem como da capacidade de executá-las e da satisfação com o desempenho obtido. Além disso, buscou-se identificar a estratégia vencedora nesse segmento industrial, que vem sendo confrontado – com ampla desvantagem para as empresas brasileiras – com a competitividade das empresas asiáticas, sobretudo chinesas, na competição de baixo custo. Para atingir os objetivos da pesquisa, foi realizado um levantamento com empresários e executivos do ramo. O instrumento de coleta dos dados continha as escalas adaptadas de tipologia estratégica e de expectativa de desempenho usada por Parnell (2011) e da escala de mensuração da eficácia da execução estratégica proposta por Costa et al. (2012). Os dados foram tratados via estatística descritiva, análise fatorial exploratória e confirmatória e modelagem de equações estruturais. Os resultados evidenciaram que a capacidade de execução e a estratégia de diferenciação influenciam positivamente a satisfação com o desempenho empresarial. Por outro lado, não houve como confirmar ou negar o impacto da estratégia de liderança em custos e de enfoque no desempenho, dado que essas relações causais não se mostraram significativas.
Este trabalho busca compreender como a gestão do capital de giro influencia a rentabilidade das empresas, considerando o setor em que estão inseridas. Foram utilizados os dados financeiros e contábeis referentes a 143 empresas listadas na Bolsa de Valores, Mercadorias e Futuros (BM&FBovespa), divididas em 4 setores distintos: indústria, serviços, comércio e utilidade pública. Os resultados mostram que o modelo proposto foi mais representativo no setor de comércio, em especial porque este setor tem maior proporção de ativos e passivos circulares em relação aos seus ativos e passivos totais, além de indicar que a variável Capital de Giro Líquido sobre o Ativo (CGLA) é a mais confiável para mensurar a gestão do capital de giro entre empresas que se encontram em setores diferenciados. O modelo do estudo contribui para o avanço do tema no Brasil, podendo servir como base para pesquisas futuras que considerarem outras variáveis moderadoras, outro recorte setorial, por exemplo, empresas de pequeno e médio porte, que enfrentam maior dificuldade para gerir seu capital de giro.
