Paracoccidioidomicose (PCM) é doença granulomatosa sistêmica que pode comprometer qualquer órgão, principalmente pulmões. O presente artigo tem por objetivo realizar uma revisão da literatura sobre o acometimento pulmonar na infecção por P. brasiliensis, abordando aspectos fisiopatológicos, os métodos diagnósticos e a conduta terapêutica mais adequada nesses casos. Este estudo baseia-se em uma revisão integrada da literatura, as bases utilizadas foram National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health (PubMed), Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS/MEDLINE) e Science Direct, publicadas no período de 2017 a 2022. Um total de 1560 estudos foram identificados e 4 foram incluídos na análise final. Nos 4 artigos foi possível evidenciar que o diagnóstico precoce do comprometimento pulmonar na paracoccidioidomicose crônica traz benefícios para minimizar sequelas da doença. Todos os artigos citaram a correlação entre a paracoccidioidomicose crônica e o acometimento pulmonar. Dessa forma, foi possível observar que dentre os benefícios do diagnóstico precoce da paracoccidioidomicose está a diminuição das complicações pulmonares advindas da doença e com a diminuição da mortalidade da doença, assim como, a redução dos custos hospitalares.
O Transtorno Compulsivo Alimentar Periódico (TCAP) se caracteriza pela ingestão de uma quantidade de alimentos maior do que outras pessoas consumiriam em circunstâncias parecidas. Durante os episódios dessa compulsão, o indivíduo come mais rápido do que o normal, além de comer até sentir-se “desconfortavelmente cheio”, mesmo não estando fisicamente com fome. O objetivo deste artigo consiste em analisar as principais abordagens da Terapia Cognitivo Comportamental (TCC) associadas às farmacológicas no tratamento do TCAP. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura relacionada às abordagens da TCC e terapias farmacológicas contribuintes no tratamento do TCAP. Foram incluídos artigos dentre o período de 2018 a 2023 nos idiomas inglês e português, também foram selecionados artigos que respondessem à pergunta norteadora e com melhor nível de evidência científica. Foram identificados 657 artigos. Posteriormente, foram selecionados 8 artigos após a aplicação dos filtros idiomas, temporal e texto completo. Os artigos excluídos foram aqueles que não correspondiam aos critérios de inclusão e que não abrangiam o tema de forma satisfatória. Desse modo, é notável há uma melhoria através da abordagem da Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental associadas às Farmacológicas no Tratamento no Transtorno de Compulsão Alimentar Periódico. Entretanto, ainda é preciso de estudos multicêntricos com o intuito de esclarecer o papel da psicopatologia do transtorno alimentar e a melhor abordagem terapêutica, o que deve ser analisado em estudos futuros.
